Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

I guess the best option then is to either pack some or buy them there if it's that huge of a deal? :confused3 It's very hit-or-miss on whether an individual CM will let you take them to your room or not. If you ask a CM for a glass to take to your room, it will almost definitely be in a plastic...

Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

I'm not sure I understand? You can bring wine and beer to your room at AKL with zero issues. It will simply be in a clear plastic cup instead of a regular wine glass. There's no other difference. No need to bring glasses unless you absolutely must drink from a wine glass in your room every...

Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

I highly highly doubt any CL will do away with taking drinks to your room. It's part of the whole experience and what you're paying for in the extra room cost. I'm not sure what first prompted the initial concern a while back about difficulties taking drinks to rooms at some CLs, but in all our...

Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Yep that's definitely the norm at CR. It's awesome. I wish things were more consistent at all CLs! Wine has never been an issue at any CL for us at least (AKL just politely requested it be in a plastic cup, but happily sent many a "glass" out of the lounge with us), but unopened beer is SO...

Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Hey! Yep, I've stayed at both YC and BWI recently so I'll give you my impressions. It was our first trip to both. Between the two, YC was a clear winner for us. There were several reasons. First, we like the room better. The new refurbs are just fabulous! YC had a more relaxed vibe. The lounge...

Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

I understand the conflict. Personally, since my husband and I are childfree, we've always avoided BC because we always find it to be exactly as your husband stated: chaotic! It's like the Poly of the EPCOT resorts in that sense. We were so pleasantly surprised by the more upscale, "grown-up"...

Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

I do! I've stayed at every CL with the exception of BC and GF, and AKL is my second favorite on property. I was blown away by how unique the whole experience was. The food is truly spectacular! All our CM interactions (with the exception of one) were friendly and super helpful. You feel like...

Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Thanks! As far as evening offerings, there is usually a main course of some sort (one night it was salmon and rice, another chicken with polenta I think), two or three salad options which rotate out and are always fresh and delicious, a small one- or two-bite dish (I remember shaved beef with...

Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

As a self-described EWP Fangirl, I can comment on this with some authority. If you wanna see the EWP at the Poly, go down to the end of the dock. The Club lounge is pretty lousy for EWP and fireworks viewing. You'll get an excellent EWP show at the end of the dock. Don't bother with the...

Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

I still can't find my rate sheet, but off the top of my head I can say with some confidence that the standard Tower Club rooms (all 5 of them) are about $100 more a night than the standard Atrium Club rooms, rack rate. With discounts it can be different of course, but that's a rough average.

I always feel like it's hard to properly convey to folks who haven't stayed Tower Club how amazing it really is, but... yep. Glad you enjoyed it as much as we do! Can't wait to be back in Sept.

Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Sorry you're not loving AKL. Interestingly enough, we were able to take an unopened beer to our room at AKL, but were explicitly told NO at BWI by several different CMs. :confused3 It sucked since we were in a garden cottage so we had a ridiculously long trek back and forth to the lounge to get...

Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Well Tonga has a different setup. The lounge itself has very little food-wise, mostly little things like granola, fruit, etc. no hot food. BUT they do give you a small room service menu with breakfast and all-day options on it. Everything on that menu is free. You just mark what you want and...

Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Food reports are definitely not the only thing to base your resort decision on, but I will say that, in terms of our Poly experience, the mediocre food was honestly one of the lower reasons on our list of why we didn't enjoy it. Since we were in Tonga we had the option to avoid the Hawaii lounge...

Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

I posted some AKL photos from my trip in March back on page 406 of this thread if you wanna take a look. It was our first stay at AKL CL and, out of all our CL trips at the different deluxe resorts, AKL is my second favorite CL. It's really wonderful. It's usually a bit lower priced than some...

Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

I totally understand. Since you asked for input, I'll give you mine. :umbrella: I've stayed at all the CLs besides BC and GF, and... The Poly is by far my least favorite. The food isn't very good, the lounge is always hectic, the rooms in the Hawaii building are all double Queen (no kings at...
