OFFICIAL CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY SEASON & NEW YEAR'S 2017 THREAD

21st-27th for me, Mrs PTT and Jnr PTT are staying on till the 2nd Jan. Staying at the Hilton for the first time at Christmas. Done WDW for Christmas but never DL. Can't wait although have had to sacrifice the annual Summer pilgrimage. Will miss the Summer heat but worth it for the Christmas overlay.

MaxPass / Digital Fastpass - Discussion Thread

I'd imagine that the FP return times are due to the park being quieter than normal (predicted by Disney) hence a perfect day to roll out a big change.

Mickey's Fun Wheel, Ride or Not?

We went in 2001 when it opened. Although the park had problems (rides constantly breaking down), it had a magical Californian theme. A discussion for another thread though I suspect.

Mickey's Fun Wheel, Ride or Not?

I hate the swinging gondolas, they scare me to death. Which is why I love the ride, makes me feel alive! And it's the sun wheel, really don't like what's been done to the DCA entrance and theme. Bring back the letters!!!

    Interview The Person Below You!

Disneyland in 1983, not being allowed to go on Dumbo because my older brother wanted to go on Space Mountain. Never, ever forgiven my parents for that! Same question :)

    Interview The Person Below You!

Going to Southern California in 3 weeks for some well deserved R and R and our annual Disneyland fix :) I wouldn't live in Florida for a gold clock! Colorado or Vancouver though, might consider those. What's your earliest memory?

Get in when the park opens, no lines then! Leave at 11 ish and laze by the pool. Go back in the evening for the fireworks, Fantasmic and WOC.

    Interview The Person Below You!

Aside from money health family etc, being alone in the universe. That really scares me because it makes us so unbelievably precious that any wasted second is a crime. Are we alone in the universe?

What age for baby to go to Disneyland?

Our little princess was 8 months on her first trip. Dealt with an 11 hour flight perfectly, nappy changing in a plane toilet is an art! She loved it without question. We did San Francisco first with a jaunt upto northern California then back to Napa and on to Anaheim for a week in DL. I don't...

    Interview The Person Below You!

Sunday with my brother in Abersoc. His idea not mine! Regarding airlines, the best flight we ever had was United on a brand new 777. They bumped us up to business on our honeymoon, lovely! Since then, for trans atlantic, Virgin and BA are the best. Conti and Delta have been poor. Swore I'd...

Lovely quote :) Yes. Loved it as a kid now doubly as I get to play with my daughter, pelt her with snowballs and build snowmen all in the name of being a great dad, bliss! If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

The greatest attraction is the history of mankind. The perfect fusion of Disney magic, humour, music, colour and Dole Whip. The Enchanted Tikki Room. The under new management one in WDW is fun but nothing, not even Millenium Force crossed with Tatsu beats Pierre and the gang :) On that note...

Nemesis is certainly the best of the B and M suspended coasters that I've been on although after the really odd headache it gave me last week, I think my insane coaster days might be behind me sadly :( TOT is excellent, one of my all time faves :) As for me: Mr Toad's Wild Ride. Same...

**Dis Weight Loss Group- July - Week 4**

I got on the scales last Feb and saw 15st 10. I knew I'd been getting a bit heavy but this was a real shock. So I googled, talked to friends and family and decided to get into calorie counting. I got a good app on my phone and embarked on a campaign. I entered all food and excercise into the...

Why Is Disneyland California Mostly Ignored By UK & Irish??

I have regular arguments with people who are going to Disneyland. They ALL know the name but they always mean Disneyworld. "You mean there's another one? Why fly further if there's one in Florida?":furious:

Why Is Disneyland California Mostly Ignored By UK & Irish??

@bigdreams Thats because there's so much to do in California! We've been going for years and not seen anywhere near all the amazing things whereas we've done Orlando a few times and won't be rushing back. Disneyland is where the magic began and where it lives.
