If there's already I thread for October, I apologize. I didn't see one in my search. For our late October trips we've always rented a mini van from Alamo for under $300. So far we've had no luck scoring anything similar, has any one else found a great deal yet?

We've always pulled our kids with no problems so far. Last time we traveled in October when they had a short week and a lot of kids from their school ( and teachers!) were there as well. As they get older it might be more of a problem, so we'll enjoy it while it lasts.

I was thinking the same thing when I read the OP. If my kids didn't sit at the bar, how would we order our fish fry at the supper club? If it's busy, our kids sit and we stand.
