We actually haven’t used their packages yet. But I did recently see a 40% off select Universal Orlando hotels offer through Allegiant Airlines, thought that was interesting.

There are reasons why some people may not be using their deadbolts. But know that employees do have the tools to open these. Many people have reported being asleep or showering or otherwise engaged so therefore ignoring the knocks, & the employees have still come in.

In our experience, no, WDW does not do this like real world hotels. They barge in.

I wonder how long the scaffolding will be up. Gosh, that’s normally such a gorgeous area to take photos.

Wawa is the bomb! 👍🏻 We live a mile away from a Wawa & I wouldn’t want to admit how often we’re there. 🤣

We stopped staying on property due to the, “security check.” They have really messed up so many times by barging into rooms. Is your teenage daughter changing? Too bad! And oh - want an undisturbed nap? Maybe, maybe not - it’s a crap shoot. We find these, “security checks” to be invasive & off...

I don’t have a guess when it will open. But I did see that they’re already doing meet & greets outside of Dreamworks Land!

Ohmygoodness….a train thread. 🚂 As a railroad wife (freight rail), I’m looking forward to exploring this discussion. Daily life in our household involves trains.

Dreamworks Land is scheduled to open this summer at Universal. This may be another area your son will enjoy. :)

I think Seven Dwarfs Mine Train & TRON are the only Magic Kingdom lightening lane rides. 🤔

Since you’re getting married in Disney Springs, why not book a block of rooms for your guests there? It seems like it would be more convenient for your guests.

ILL stands for “Individual Lightening Lane.” This is where you can buy faster accesss to the most popular rides. Prices vary but in general run about $20 per person, PER RIDE. Ugh. The nickel & diming at WDW has unfortunately really been amped up since your last trip. 🙁

It has been a few years but we’ve stayed at the Disney Springs Holiday Inn a couple of times. We loved it! The staff was excellent, food was good & location was really great.

We won’t be returning to 1900 PF unless they bring back the original characters. The step sisters were the most engaging, entertaining & fun interactions we had on property!

Parking fees - another great reason to stay at a hotel (with free parking) & a shuttle.
