Candlelight processional reservations... is this normal?

That's fair. I'm not terribly upset - other than the fact that the restaurants they did reserve for it appear to be exclusively for it for our trip duration, and we (I, lol) really wanted to eat at Biergarten. There will be future trips, so it's not the end of the world.

Candlelight processional reservations... is this normal?

Yea, I suppose so. It seemed like the message was "we haven't opened reservations yet" when in reality it looks like the message was *actually* we have too many people hitting our servers. Would be nice to have that be made more clear.

Candlelight processional reservations... is this normal?

Starting out with: I didn't get them, so there's that, lol. Anyway, this was my first time trying to get "in demand" reservations. Is it normal for the website to be at "we're sorry we can't check reservations at this time" and then jump immediately to all the spots being sold out?

    Concierge Lounge hours and alcohol???

To be honest, I highly doubt its a cost issue. I've sailed concierge thrice, so I know what the cost is to passengers. I also just don't think there's that much demand for a never ending flow of alcohol. What I could see (and would like) is something like they have at the park club levels...

Private Transfer to Port for Concierge Guests

Yes, well... kind of. Here's the deal: If you booked directly through them, shoreside concierge can book you the SUV / personal transportation. If you used a travel agent, you have to book separately, but shoreside can tell you who to go through, and you get the same price... just a little...

    Tiffany's on the Fantasy

Having just got off the Fantasy last Saturday I'd have to say... I agree 100%. Of all the onboard stores, and spaces, nothing was emptier than the Tiffany store at any given moment.

Should we book a Cabana for our honeymoon?

In order of likely relevance to a honeymooning couple: 1) semi-private room. 2) hammock. 3) private changing area on the island. 4) Safe on the island. 5) refrigerator. 6) Drink service to your location. 7) rentals included. With only two people it's less "worthwhile" than with a bigger group...

Should we book a Cabana for our honeymoon?

SHould you get one? If you can afford it, probably. They are really convenient. But, as others have implied, don't plan on engaging in any "honeymoon activities" in it -- they aren't private, and the changing area is a corner that can be screened off for one person standing.

How potty trained is potty trained...

Thanks! That's our plan as well, albeit with an even shorter time (hoping for no more than an hour max). His brother and sister will be in with him, but might be off playing on their own. And he has definitely entered his "not a baby!" stage, so putting him in the nursery would be... hard.

How potty trained is potty trained...

The crash course began yesterday, so hopefully this was a moot question :).

How potty trained is potty trained...

So for some reason, we thought they had changed the policy from requiring potty training to being a strict age cutoff for the Kids clubs. Looking at stuff for our trip leaving in 2 weeks... we were wrong. Anyway, our three year old son (young three) is semi-potty trained. He's 80% good but we...

Onboard activities during a shore day...

...Are there any? This is our third cruise (Fantasy -- Departing the 13thb), and we aren't really planning on doing much in port at either of the non-castaway cay days other than getting off, poking about for maybe an hour and getting back on the ship. In our past two trips we've spent...

How many receive any perks from their TA's now when booking a Disney cruise ...

We used SmallWorld to book and got some cash back. Other than that, though... nothing, and it's not really worth it IMO. I probalby would jsut book directly in the future like our previous two cruises.

A Lot Changes in 3 Yrs! Help with New Basics

I think I read somewhere that they no longer prohibit diapers / pull ups in the kids club? Is that correct? (sailing in two months, and out three year old is in pull ups).

The new Concierge Sun Deck Jacuzzi--just an extension of the main Kiddie pool???

@gotomu212 -- I agree. I also paid for the family sundeck, but I don't expect peace and quiet there. In fact, the only part I actually expect peace and quiet is the specifically designated adult only areas. Which, the concierge sundeck is not one of. To be fair, I can get being disappointed...

The new Concierge Sun Deck Jacuzzi--just an extension of the main Kiddie pool???

A toddler/small infant can easily drown in 4 inches of water. Tiny Humans are simultaneously incredibly resilient and incredibly fragile.

The new Concierge Sun Deck Jacuzzi--just an extension of the main Kiddie pool???

What makes you assume that? My first assumption would be it's a safety rule, not a "no playing allowed" rule. Setting that aside, did you notice the concierge deck as a whole getting more use? I know on my last trip it was mostly barren aside from the two times they had the happy hour up...

Just returned from 4 night concierge on Disney Dream...AMA

My wife and I are beer drinkers, not wine drinkers, but if the level of beer is any indication -- it's about on par with the rest of the ships offerings. Nothing really great, but at least a few options that aren't god-awful.
