We have a "surprise" trip to BCV just before Christmas planned for the kids. Last family trip before college starts to take over the schedule. Hopeful to keep it, but who knows at this point.

My DW and I like to go over to MK in the morning for the shows on Main Street and the Castle and afternoon for parade without needing to go on a ride, but we have AP's. It would be difficult to justify without the AP.

We are based in Columbus, for now. Own at BCV and travel to WDW spring and fall because we live in Lakeside, OH during the summer months. Southwest out of CMH are the easiest flights for us.

Question... We usually have a Gold AP (DVC) but are planning trip during Christmas that would be blacked out...I was either going to purchase 3-4 day park hopper through UT or upgrading to Platinum AP. We have another trip planned the following May. Is it possible to do the park hopper ticket...

How does viewing Happily Ever After compare to Wishes from California Grill? My DW and I enjoyed a year ago March and are debating for this fall with her parents whether we should plan this or simply go into MK and get an earlier dinner res.

We have one more trip to add for 2018. November 2-5 (BCV) with DW's parents for F&W. Their first time at Disney. This is going to be a very different trip than with the kids or just DW and me.

506 and my DW didn't get upset when I told her about it late last night. :) Very busy 2019 already in the plans and this was just the icing. Anniversary cruise just for the two of us.

I spent an hour on the phone with reservation CM and MyExperience CM and after that it magically worked fine. Not sure what the issue was, but sounds like it just needed to be "reset" on their end. I think CM would say they didn't do anything. Oh well back in business... more magic ahead.

Are there ongoing issues with the ADRs online? I have been able to make one ADR in the last week for March, however when I go to schedule others it errors out after selecting the time from those available. I have tried different devices and different browsers. I have never had problems...

We are in Columbus, some family in Chicago though. Either way, me and the kids alone for the drive should be fun, right? It was my idea for DW to stay in FL a couple extra days rather than fly home to turn around and drive down.

BCV is home for us, but WL is a close second for me but not for DW she likes the BC/YC/BW area much more. I am not opposed to trying other locations but I always feel more relaxed at BCV.

We bought 150 BCV to start, which is 3 long weekends in a studio for us. We will be adding on another 150-200 over the next few years, when DW says it is ok. :)

I am not a big fan of split stay for one night. BC is our home and DW and I love it there, but I would choose BW, relax and not worry about changing locations. The only exception for me would be if you have never tried AKL and this is your one chance to do that. I think a 3/2 vs 4/1 split...
