    Good luck Pete!

July 5th 2017 I hit my bottom. I had no reference or person to talk to, so I messaged Pete for advice. He helped put me on the right path, and I keep his reply as a reminder. Since that day I’ve learned and accepted no one is perfect. Everyone of us has demons. I am glad Pete is taking this...

    Wine Bar George No Love

We walked in on the Saturday after thanksgiving, which was a crazy busy night at DS. Great service and food, even better we never felt rushed. I didn’t see my favorite wine listed (haut medoc) but the server listened to what I liked and knew exactly what to recommend. I was more than impressed...

    Just the two of you?!

It’s good to see people have had great service, especially as a party of two. Not all of ours have been so bad, but visiting 2-4 times a year and having a sit down daily, I think maybe they have slipped on service in the past 3 or 5 years. We don’t use DDP anymore, but for the two of us a sit...

    Just the two of you?!

I don’t know if this is just our bad luck, or a trend at WDW, but it seems that parties of two get the shaft. Over the past few years I notice that when it is only my wife and me dining we tend to get a less than stellar experience. This was confirmed in June when we went with my in-laws. As a...

    PA DISers out there

There is a meet in Wilmington Delaware not too far from you. I believe it’s early in the fall. We have gone there the past two years and it was great. I’m in Delco and it’s under an hour from here. There was also one in Hershey, but I don’t know if it is still going.

    holidays around the world comment

My take on the food is that it was not stellar, it was more Seinfeld. If you have ever had a grandmothers knish you would feel the same shame I do eating funnel cake at the American pavilion or pretzels in the Germany pavilion (Pennsylvania Dutch pride) Campbell’s does a better soup, and...

Craig was right!?! Epcot’s holiday and wine festival

I watched this weeks podcast after just returning from WDW with my wife. A substantial part of our trip was Epcot’s holiday festival of food and wine. We got the passport (I don’t think that was mentioned on the show) and were determined to put all of the stickers in. We easily completed the...

“Frozen Ever After Dessert Party” with Fireworks Viewing and After-Close Attraction Ride

Thanks Greg, we are starting our panic 60 day period and I had anxiety about this one.

“Frozen Ever After Dessert Party” with Fireworks Viewing and After-Close Attraction Ride

If you were seated at your table at FEA do you have a lot of people get up and walk in front of you? We had this happen to us at the old Wishes dessert party, where we got a prime table, then everyone stood in front of us minutes before the show started.

Will Disney raise wages due to the new tax bill?

I saw several major banks are raising their minimum wage to $15.00 as a result of this tax plan. That being said, Disney isn't likely to. Their biggest asset, the cast members, are worth what they can get away with paying. Even a $1 an hour increase across the board would do wonders for CMs, but...

    Harry Styles as Sebastian

Is it wrong that my mind went straight to villains? First I thought Gaston, then Scar. There needs to be a Wicked style movie about Scar. Something that shows him for the wonder he is.

Not what I expected to happen

The interweb is full of things; The google even found me Song of the South for $15. I paid a little but niw have it.

    Pete Werner vs Bruce Vallance

I only know Bruce Valance from Hollywood squares (and still have no clue why he was there in the first place). When I bust on people I usually cut to the quick, and comparing Pete to him is an insult of extraordinary quality. It's on par with a Lisa Lampanelli line from a Friars roast.

    Dis Unplugged and Me

I think of this as one of the few places I can visit. The sense of family and the wit and wisdom from the podcasts draw me in too. I often think that Craig is me, but I have changed... @DisneyKevin is much closer. There is a sense of family in this group, a feeling of acceptance. Yes I threw...

If you could rent for a month...where would you stay?

My wife and I are doing 29 days this spring; The thing is we are taking her mother and aunt as the have time share points. Between them and renting we are spending under $1500 for WBC. We are driving down so will have a car, and getting AP so we can park for free. Since we are using multiple...

Discussion on 10/10 DIS Unplugged show

This show reminded me of the Dustin days with two shows, todays being like the second half. It's a nice break from 40 minutes of John and Pete talking about labor contracts or law suits. It was like showing up to school and finding out the teacher was showing a movie. Just a fun mindless...

Which DIS personality is most like you?

@DisneyKevin is; He knows power is taken not given, and the power sarcasm has over the weak minded. He also looks great in tights, just like me. Someday soon you will see him smoking a pipe and wearing only a robe when he takes the dogs out in the morning... that is me trying to drive down the...

How do you feel sitting next to a stranger on a ride?

I have a bigger issue on a six hour flight being shoe-horned between two strangers than a two minute ride where you are looking straight ahead the entire time.
