One member of an upcoming cruise group has 65 (!!) ducks she is hiding around the ship. I am all for doing something that you enjoy and makes others happy, but this is just excessive and ridiculous.

I don’t think this is correct. The old cruise terminal is close to these places, but Falmouth (where Disney docks) is at least an hour away from Mystic Mountain and Dunn’s River. And FWIW, I would never jump in a random taxi in Jamaica. (Cozumel and Grand Cayman, absolutely. Jamaica, no way.)

Can I still say I’m using a birth certificate to get through the process faster, then go back and enter passport info later? I’m fairly sure I’ve done that before, but not sure if it’s still an option. Thanks!

Not to mention the fact that you’re in line with people who are seasoned travelers. Pre-check people know how to get through security quickly and efficiently, which also makes the line move faster.

Plus, if you rent a car, then you’ve got a car to store luggage in if you’ve got a later flight on disembarkation day. We usually go grab lunch at Disney Springs and maybe see a movie, all while our luggage is locked in our rental car.

I keep my phone on airplane mode on the ship, but periodically turn it off to see if I can get data from the nearest island. I give it a minute or two, then put it back into airplane mode if my phone doesn’t pick up the data. Then try again later.

Verizon travel pass has worked for me on the ship when docked at these places. It has even worked on the ship while we are at sea, while I could barely see Grand Bahama waaaay off in the distance.
