You are right about Disney IT not getting it right. But, I guarantee that the Operations person in charge of the call center is making phone calls to ensure the site is up by 8 am.

I wonder if just the “Book Vacation” page is still under maintenance. And there is *no way* they forgot. Their biggest goal this morning is to have that page up and running (correctly) before 9 am so the call center is not flooded with calls.

As of 7 am ET the site is down for maintenance, so the 8 am ET bookings are already in peril. First, I am not even a little surprised. Second, what are the chances of it being up—and working correctly—by 8 am?!

For anyone interested in the next steps after ROFR, my timeline has been longer than others. I bought through the board sponsor and they are using Magic Vacation Title. Since there are no 2023 points left, and I am trying not to borrow points, I wasn’t in a hurry to close. But, yeesh, I am glad...

Congratulations on your tickets! I was able to get soccer tickets and am super excited. DLP is only an hour by train from Paris—it’s definitely do-able. Even if it’s just one extra day, I think it will be worth it!

I know it’s only been a couple of hours, but has anyone seen actual reservations or points for rent yet? Just curious is the rumors around $30pp rental rates came to fruition!

I used to work in a contact center and I definitely listened to people when I put them on ‘hold’. I just muted my microphone and could still hear them! But, I hope no one listens to me singing along to the Disney hold music!

Do you know which park they are selling the bucket in? It sounds so lovely!

I am trying to justify the purchase. . . Can you pick your UY? Is there one that seems to work better? my current contracts are not aligned (Feb, June, and Aug).

I also look at the cost *without* DVC. . . What is the rack rate of the room? Am I saving money? I also look to see the cost/benefit if I didn’t stay. Can I rent the points? What is the margin? There have been times when I have rented half of out my points and that rental paid for all my MFs.
