Connecting a 1 Bedroom with a Regular Concierge

We have traveled in a connecting suite/room on the Dream concierge. There was no problem ordering dinner to the suite for all of us. There was no question about it. I think they assume if you're connecting cabins you likely will be eating together.

    The Cabana Beach at Cozumel

Thanks. I was told by the facility that all cabanas had safes but I wanted confirmation, or not.

    The Cabana Beach at Cozumel

Thanks for the review. Can you tell me if there was a safe in the cabana?

Wife not interested in Disney Cruise but we all want to go (with her! :) )

I second the cruise Concierge response. Concierge on the Fantasy or Dream is a wonderful experience, No crowds, no lines, the hallways are quiet and peaceful.

First time flying with a 3yo

Another vote for the CARES, the straw cup for take off and landings, some snacks (maybe special ones he doesn't normally get) and carrying on a change of clothes for him just in case. If you have an iPad they can use, download a movie that you think they will love as well as a few episodes of...

    Transportation to Airport after cruise

They do have seat belts on the Disney shuttles. My son was able to use it at three and it was not uncomfortable for him and secured him well.

    Concierge 1-bedroom Selection

I like deck 11. I think it is quieter than deck 12 and it's really no big deal going up the stairs to the lounge. We were in 11022 a couple of years ago and the verandah was small and did feel closed in but recently in 11010/11008 and the balconies felt much more spacious. Those have part of the...

Nassau port of call question - no excursions booked...

Was on the Dream and stopped there last week. We decided to go to Atlantis and had a great time. I thought it would be too big and too crowded and a hassle but it ended up being a lot of fun. My five year old loved it and my mom who's age I can't say, enjoyed it as well. We made her go on the...

Bahamas and CC weather looks terrible

We’re a week out and the forecast before, during and after looks pretty abysmal for Nassau and CC. We have a cabana booked and a very expensive day at Atlantis (which we are okay with both of not rained out) but can’t decide if we should cancel at least one while we still have the opportunity...

Not to hijack, but what do people usually tip for the cabana?

    Potty training while crusing?

I ordered a cheap floor potty through Amazon and had it sent directly to the ship. It was perfect because of the split bathroom set up, I put it in the tub bathroom so he could sit for awhile and still had the real toilet available.

    Paranoid Aquaduck question

I went on the Aquaduck once and I remember part of the tube was open on top. My son will be five on our next trip and I know he'd like to go on it with me but I'm worried about him bouncing out of it on an open section. Am I'm being a paranoid or incredibly paranoid? Anyone else ever worry about...

    Which age is preferable?

IMO, if you're counting on the kids spending time in kids club (so you guys can enjoy yourself too), I'd wait another year. There's a big difference between in 3.5 and 4.5. But, if you're planning on more family time and not using the club much, then go when it's best for you.

    Couple hours in MCO

You should call the Hyatt directly the night before to see if they might have a room - there's always last minute cancellations and you might get lucky.

    Atlantis "The Current" question

Thanks for all the responses, didn't think it was a heated question. As of now, I think we will not do it but if we did he would definitely wear a life jacket. He's a very good swimmer but I feel more comfortable when he wears it in a situation like that or open water.

    Atlantis cabana recs?

Thanks, that map is helpful. Couldn't find that one on their website. Would like it near action, not quiet area and not near beach, however, I just spoke to shoreside and was told that they cannot make location requests that it is at Atlantis discretion which means the worse ones.

    Atlantis cabana recs?

We want to get a cabana at Atlantis. Does anyone have any recommendations for a cabana location? I know they have four or five locations but I'm not sure which to request.

    Atlantis "The Current" question

I've been researching excursions for our Dream trip in May. I was intending to do the Aquadventure at Atlantis with my soon to be 5 year old. Although he's tall enough, I know he wouldn't do any of the slides nor would I - too chicken. But the rapids river sounds like fun. I was reading on...
