    Best restaurants outside the resort

    There's always In-n-Out, but places I like (I live near DLR) within a few miles are Sabroso! Mexican Grill for mexican; Cortina’s Italian Market for italian deli (and pizza);

Airport Proximity to DLR and Ground Transportation Information Superthread (READ FIRST POST FOR OVERVIEW!)

I use the Philippines, Thailand...any poor country will do. Just need to try some out.

Airport Proximity to DLR and Ground Transportation Information Superthread (READ FIRST POST FOR OVERVIEW!)

The absolute best way to get the cheapest airfares is to purchase a VPN. Then set your country to someplace where poverty is high. The exact same airline, route, date, and flight will get many different results depending on what country you're purchasing from. It's like hotel rooms, there are...

Traveling from DL to Disney Studios (Burbank)

I would say it's an hour without traffic from Anaheim to Burbank (via I5). I suggest using Google Maps at 8:30am w/ your route and seeing the estimated time. Going through downtown LA will be a nightmare. I wouldn't be surprised if it's over 2 hours at that time.

    Beach suggestions

Yeah, definitely don't go IN the water. I'm originally from Hawaii. The first time I went to the beach...in SUMMER...and dove in the water. It was freezing. Plus I opened my eyes and was really surprised at how unclear the water is in California.

I just sold another 160 points to the same buyer. This one's at $203/pt. We'll see if Disney takes that as well.

I talked to Pete Werner and he convinced me to sell. I've never used VGC (I live 15 mins north of Disneyland) at the 11-month window. I'm looking to replace the points w/ BLT but it's real hard finding an OCT use year.

DL Food Opinions Wanted: Best Tacos, Best Cajun/Creole

If you want Nachos go to either White Water Snacks (in the Grand Californian) or if you want to spend a lot more (and get lobster), try Lamplight Lounge

DL Food Opinions Wanted: Best Tacos, Best Cajun/Creole

If that's the case, the "best" options for Mexican are 1) the Taqueria (outside of Tortilla Joe's) - this quick service place is a good value and 2) Rancho Del Zocolo (if you want a counter service). I will eat at both but don't really consider it Mexican (there's no Tex-Mex in SoCal that I'm...

DL Food Opinions Wanted: Best Tacos, Best Cajun/Creole

If you want good Mexican food you have to go off-property. There's a really good place just South on Harbor (Sabroso Mexican Grill - Guy Fiery has been there). Not so much a taco place though. My favorite taco place may be too far for you (it's in Fullerton - North of Disneyland) - Tacos Puro...

DLR people, get me pumped for WDW

I'm a DL AP holder. I'm also a DVC member so I visit WDW (at least every other year if not annually). Max Pass >>> Fast Pass + DL Cast Members > WDW Cast Members IMO (and I'll get some grief about this) DL fireworks are better (although they are subject to cancellation due to high winds) There...

    D23 EXPO 2019 Superthread - dates announced!

They are now giving out reservations for Oga's. It's a virtual queue. I'd head there first, get your time period and if there's time (not sure how lines will be after the reservation process is done) head to Smuggler's Run. I'm pretty sure that they'll limit the number of people inside of...
