Just checked. I have the 4370. I also had never watched it wash before today! Water comes shooting out from each lower side between the drum and gasket, it’s a definite stream of water. It is soapy too.

Mine is that same model! I also mentioned up thread that there are no issues with stink and never have to clean the ring. Mines white. No issues with the display at all. So bright I can see it in the kitchen to see if it’s still running.

I have a LG front loader. Two years old, no mold smell, only ran the clean cycle twice so far and rarely have to clean the ring. Bought it due to this actually. Lots of wash options. Including a 22 min cycle that’s actually does a good job. LG has a great rep for washer/dryers.
