Garden Rocks concert series dining package

According to the website, I can book a dining package for the Garden Rocks concert series starting tomorrow. It doesn't say what time I can start reserving? Help?

Returning to WDW with a total newbie. Only have one day in parks. Strategy discussion.

Moderators, can you help clarify why this was moved? I'm specifically asking about strategy to get the most out of a day at WDW? Isn't that the purpose of the Strategy section of the forum?

Returning to WDW with a total newbie. Only have one day in parks. Strategy discussion.

Good morning all!!! Nice to "see" you again, long time no talk as I've been away from the boards for quite some time. A lot has happened in my life since I last used to post here regularly. Most notably I got divorced a long time ago and have since remarried. The reason I mention that is my...

Anyone gotten married when they were "older"?

I'm in the same age range as you and your fiance. I'm getting married at the end of October. I've been married before, she hasn't. I have three kids, she has none. We talked about a "destination wedding", but ultimately decided that we didn't want to have the family travel and incur all...

I'm so disappointed and I don't know what to do

We've been debating a trip to either WDW or DL the second week of September. This news may put an end to those plans. We're vaccinated and I'm completely over wearing a mask....I have no interest in doing it anywhere, let alone Disney.

Considering first trip to Universal. Starting to research...

Oh, and also, what are the virtual queues like? I downloaded the app, but struggling to figure it out...probably because I don't have tickets. I know it's basically a return time to get on the attraction. Are the return times really far ahead? For example, if I got in the virtual queue at...

Considering first trip to Universal. Starting to research...

That's great info, thanks again!!! I definitely realize that predicting waits and/or crowds is near impossible...I've always been strongly against the WDW "crowd calendars". I just had zero clue what wait times are like at all. I'll definitely keep the Halloween Horror Nights in mind.

The Summer Games of the XXXII Olympiad

:teeth: I think I'm more of a fan of the winter Olympics than summer. I'm not a basketball fan and I just can't get into things like equestrian, skateboarding, handball, table tennis, badminton, etc... I still like to watch what I can though. I think the gymnasts are amazing athletes, as are the...

Considering first trip to Universal. Starting to research...

Great idea, thanks!! I've done throw away rooms at WDW in the past to help with getting FP+. I will definitely look into it. What are wait times generally like without EP? Is there any website/app where I can view real time waits?

The Summer Games of the XXXII Olympiad

Indeed. If you want to stick with comparisons to gymnastics instead of football/basketball...how many other young ladies did you see last night who fell off the balance beam, or fell during their floor routine? Heck, there was that one poor Russian girl who looked petrified on the balance...

Thanks for the feedback everyone! Yes, good point to put aside the WDW comparisons. We have been annual passholders at Six Flags, so we have other experiences to draw from. And sure, we are definitely excited about experiencing something new. We would very much look forward to it. We...

Not particularly, no. They feel the same way I do...even though they aren't "fans" of Harry Potter, they'd love to see it and experience it. I guess it's almost like Avatar in WDW. I've only seen part of the movie and wasn't into it, but I think the stuff at WDW is awesome! I've heard the...

The Summer Games of the XXXII Olympiad

She made a mistake on her first run out, then packed up her things and called it a day. Tom Brady goes to the Super Bowl and throws an interception on his first pass. Lebron goes to the NBA Finals and throws an air ball on his first shot. Don't think they'd be applauded if they packed up and...

Considering first trip to Universal. Starting to research...

Kids and I have been to WDW many, many times. However, we've never been to Universal. I was starting to plan a trip to WDW in September, but the costs are higher than I really want to spend right now. Universal seems a bit less expensive and it would be a new place to visit. I know next to...

    New Car thoughts

Sure you can buy an aftermarket spare, but where would you put it? If the car came without one that means it very likely was designed with no space to carry one. Yes, if you can, get rid of the Compass.

    New Car thoughts

Just a few quick thoughts. The whole "SUV is safer than a sedan" thing is pretty much a myth. If you want one for towing or hauling cargo, or just because you like the style, go for it. Just don't do it strictly for "safety". Jeep can make some pretty luxurious vehicles. If you load the...

Considering 1st visit to DL. Wait times? Bringing food in? Wheelchairs?

My kids and I are many, many time WDW veterans. I have my kids over their school fall break (mid-September) and my fiancé and I were trying to plan a trip for them. Our first thought was WDW. While it's still on the table, we have decided to explore other options. One of those options is...

Considering a return to WDW after a 3 year hiatus

Thanks! I guess that's where things are so different for us. We stay offsite and bring all of our own food in...we never use the restaurants. It's mainly the attraction wait times that are my big concern. For the first time since 2018, I actually have the time and finances to go...but it...

Considering a return to WDW after a 3 year hiatus

Hey all! I'm a many time veteran of WDW, though last trip was 2018. I'm considering making a return trip the last week of September, but obviously the world has changed dramatically since I was last there. I started reading the "Here now" thread. It's many hundreds of pages long, so it can...
