I am usually for a new ride rather than refurbing another ride and my opinion stays the same in this case. They need to add something to WS near the back entrance to counter the crowds of Rat.

That's probably not far off from what they're going to do. I'd be shocked if they didn't turn Great Movie Ride into a full on fireworks show rather than the ride. Obviously not the same thing, but the same adventure into the movies style where you become immersed through projections and pyro.

That is very true and had Comcast acquired it that would have been a big blow to Disney, though I never thought Comcast would be able to pull a deal together to beat Disney.

Heading into the 50th that is not good. I know it's the broadcasting area and not parks that this acquisition is for, but I truly wonder how much it's going to actually benefit them.

The UK ride is the most surprising of this group by far as you would think we would have seen ground breaking or heard something about it from Disney. You have to wonder how much they have gone back and forth on this concept.

When you say issues with the IP what sort of issues are we talking about? I can't imagine a Mary Poppins themed attraction being hard to come up with a concept for or having the risk of not being popular.
