    Mommy and me treatments?

Unfortunately, you have to be at least 10 to go to the Tenaya Spa (at Grand Californian). Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique offers the small folks services but not adults.

Is anything special for Easter at Disneyland?

The "Easter" bunnies tend to make appearances (often at Pooh's corner)

DCA Parkhopping Jan 7 and Beyond

I want the 1 hour EE back if it goes back to one park per day... (probably not going to happen but a gal can wish!

Give me your ultimate one day itinerary with a toddler

I would head to Toontown for its opening. They'll play music and characters are usually there to welcome you in to the land. At that point the lines to meet Mickey and Minnie will be short. Focus on the classic fantasyland attractions. Other ones my toddler thought were fun were Buzz Lightyear...

Quiet Hotel Closest to Main Gate

I think that the rooms at the BACK of the Park Vue Inn are pretty quiet. So if you book direct with them you could ask if they could put you in the far back corner where you will get the least street noise and people walking by. The only downside is that it is a long walk to the back section.

    Surprise trip planning

Feb 17 - 25 will be CROWDED its ski week in the Bay Area and lots of schools are off ... last year when I polled my kids class half were going to Tahoe and the other half were going to Disneyland!

    Grand Californian Super Thread

We used to just get a spot at the pool under an umbrella when my little guy needed a nap.

Splash one last time…but single rider

I have ridden Splash solo MANY times. If you go in the early morning you may have a log to yourself. In that case you will usually be seated in the middle seat. If you are entering through the single rider line, you will generally be in the back seat of the log. When seated in the back (in a...

Trip report! Genie+ and the Grand

As for room service not being able to be scheduled ahead ... at least they offer it. I was super disappointed at the lack of breakfast options at DLH on our last trip; no room service and Tangaroa didn't open until almost the same time as the park.

Both parks in one day? and a few other questions

Also there are some great posts here that compare rides between WDW and DL. Use these to prioritize. If you have been to WDW and done the Star Wars rides they are EXACT duplicates so you can skip that whole section of the park. TSMM is a clone too so no need to prioritize that, etc.

Outlets to plug in medical equipment?

Can her pump be left at First Aid to charge and then just picked up for feeding? Most outlets that I have seen that are accessible to the public are in places you wouldn't want to hang out. In the Grand California lobby in the alcove by the fireplace there are outlets on the side of the...

DCA closing early on Dec 7th?

Generally ... this will be a good day to knock out a lot of things at DCA because people buying one park tickets will choose Disneyland for the longer hours. I would start the day at DCA and plan to stack LL stuff for later evening in DL.

    Stroller availability in the park

I think this totally depends on the kid... at 4 my kiddo would go ALL day and wanted nothing to do with the stroller. In fact he often made us walk from ToonTown all the way to Toy Story Midway Mania because he wanted to ride that next.

Which hotel is better with toddler.and baby during first week in December?

Also ... confirm with someone who has been recently or with the hotel if there is room service yet in the DLH. It was a lifesaver to be able to order room service breakfast for delivery at the Grand when my little guy was that age. Our last trip (May 2022) we stayed at DLH and there is no room...

    DL/DCA in 40 hours - HELP!

With limited time ... focus on rides and lands that are unique to DL/DCA. Spend time in Carsland and Avengers Campus. I would probably skip sit down dining and just use mobile order and snack your way through the parks.

Dumb Q about checking luggage at GCH (or any hotel for that matter)

Or should that claim tag accidently get soaked on a water ride ... (don't ask lol)

How's the French Market Corn Chowder?

I have in the past gotten Pacific Wharf to give me the bread bowl "on the side", so the soup is separate. I am not sure if they offer an option to buy just soup without the bowl.

Where should we try to book for Thanksgiving?

Almost all the sit down restaurants will have a Thanksgiving Day special meal. But under no circumstances should you plan on getting a table without a reservation, walk ups will be non-existent on the actual holiday. The last time I was there for Thanksgiving we did our sit down meal at...

Incoming Heat Wave and Tips to Deal With It

DRINK WATER! Its free and available at every counter service place and when it is hot if you ask nicely they will often give you a larger size cup. Alternate riding rides that are outdoor with things like Animation Academy & Turtle Talk, Mickey's Philharmagic in California Adventure. For...

    Virtual Submarine Ride?

Also ... ask the CM at the entrance (don't get in the regular line) if there is no one in there they will just have you go over and they will seat you immediately.
