The Dress Shop on Cherry Tree Lane

Bit of a long shot, but does anyone know if the Redd pirate dress made it to the outlets? I haven't been able to get it on Shop Disney for weeks....

The Dress Shop on Cherry Tree Lane

We just worked with the waistband that was on the dress, took the zipper out, and put a shorter zip back in. There's no elastic in the waistband - it's just the structure of the dress. :)

The Dress Shop on Cherry Tree Lane

I posted a couple of pages back about my Disney dresses that I'd had turned into skirts. Well, I just got back from my trip, so here's what they look like! The one I'm wearing in the picture with Mike and Sulley is the Monsters Inc doors pattern, and the one with Mickey and Minnie is the Tiki...

Best resources to plan Disneyland Paris trip... any suggestions?

There is a Disneyland Paris forum on Disboards, so your post might get moved ;) That being said... I love Disneyland Paris. It's the most beautiful park, in my opinion, and really well designed. Don't be fooled into thinking that rides are the same as the WDW and DL versions - they can be quite...

    Opinions on motion sickness

For me, personally: movement = fine screens = fine 3D screens requiring glasses = eeehhhh maybe movement + screens = mostly okay movement + 3D screens requiring glasses = puke city I tolerate Philharmagic and the Muppets 3D show because I like sitting down for ten minutes in the AC. Star Tours...

UK Annual Passholders - magic bands question!

No, thanks for giving it some thought! I'm a bit stumped too. I already have one magic band from a previous trip, so I can use that to get into the parks. I think I might just visit guest services at one of the parks and see what they can do.

UK Annual Passholders - magic bands question!

Because I've got a couple of work conferences in Orlando over the next year I'm going to buy an annual pass as it'll definitely work out cheaper than paying for tickets for each trip. But I have a question about magic bands -- I don't think Disney ship magic bands to the UK, and I've read that...

The Dress Shop on Cherry Tree Lane

I think Disney are missing a trick not selling skirt versions of the dresses - there's such a huge potential to offer matching or coordinating tops and cardigans/sweaters to go with them. If there was a whole section of mix 'n match skirts and tops I'd be aaaaalllll over that.

The Dress Shop on Cherry Tree Lane

Good point. I got both of mine with a passholder discount, and I had "opt out of mousekeeping" Disney gift cards to offset the price too. If I was paying full price I probably couldn't justify it!!

MNSSHP questions - odds of selling out in October, doing 2 parties?

I'm really thinking about doing this for my trip in September. Last year I went with a big group of friends, and however much I love them, I didn't get to do all the things I wanted to do because there was just so many of us and so many things to do. I'm thinking on this year's trip I might do...

The Dress Shop on Cherry Tree Lane

I know some people on this thread might think I'm totally mad, but I bought two Disney dresses - the Tiki Room one and the Monsters Inc - and got my seamstress to cut the top off and put a new waistband on them to turn them into skirts. I actually had the Tiki Room dress for about six months...

Extra Magic Hours-best use of time

On my most recent trip, I had one day to knock out both parks. EMH 8.30 - 10am. I started in the Studios and knocked out both Ratatouille and Crush's Coaster, moved over to DL and did Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Snow White, the Carousel, and Buzz Lightyear. Jumped on Space Mountain right as the park...

    EMH worth going?

I have a couple of follow up questions if that's okay? I'm going to be at WDW on a day where MK has 7-8am EMH. What time can I get into the park? The plan is to get there as early as I can, ride Seven Dwarfs, stay until lunchtime, then get the heck out of dodge for a couple of hours and head...

The Dress Shop on Cherry Tree Lane

Very Important Question.... does anyone know if the Captain Marvel dress has pockets?! My other Disney dresses do - the Tiki Room and Monsters Inc versions. I'm not dropping $130 on a dress with no pockets ;)

***Official*** Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Information Thread *** Contains SPOILERS ***

I'm going to be there from September 7th for a convention. I might just skip HS this trip and plan to go back next year to see SWGE.

Booking a Princess room at POR through a 3rd party site

Is it possible to book one of the Princess rooms at POR through third party site, such as Expedia? I almost always get a better deal booking my flights and hotel at the same time as a package, but I'm not sure if that means I lose the ability to book/request one of the Princess Tiana themed...

Need fellow DVC members to help me plan my Disney Paris Vacation !!!!

As one of my BFFs in the US is a DVC member, I've stayed at WDW at DVC a few times so I'm familiar with how it works. But full disclosure - I live in the UK. So Disneyland Paris is my 'home' resort. For me, I think paying out of pocket is almost always the best option when visiting DLP. I've...

Realistically, how many rides can one ride in MK?

Hmmm... it depends on what you want to ride, I think. Is it a game of "how many rides can we do?" - because that game sounds like a lot of fun! If that's your aim, I'd start in Fantasyland and hit up Ariel, Dumbo, Barnstormer, Teacups, the Carousel, Small World, then head around to Haunted...

    Is One day enough?

I think you can probably do it in a day. Do you want to park-hop though? That might make a difference. I actually like getting a park hopper ticket because of some unique rides in the Studios that aren't anywhere else - Crush's Coaster and Ratatouille are both awesome. And the Mickey and the...
