Disney Skyliner (Gondola Transportation System) Read Post 1 Now Open!

If the skyliner ends up being a hit my hope is they extend these lines to Old Key West and Saratoga to make those Resorts more accessible. Maybe even extend it to Animal kingdom one day.

    The Rumor Tracking Thread

Russia would be excellent but given the geopolitics of the present and likely future I doubt that happens within the next two decades. I’m curious what kind of attraction would be a good fit for Brazil, are there any Disney properties that take place there?

    CONFIRMED - Illuminations replacement

20 years is a good long run and while it’ll be sad to see it go I’m excited to see what’s Disney has up their sleeve. Illuminations will hold a special place for all Disney fans and may arguably be the best nightmare show they’ve ever created. At least in my opinion.

    Solo: A Star Wars Story

I walked in worried after everything I had read from the production news but I'll be honest; I loved it. Was it groundbreaking? No, but it was so much fun. The characters were enjoyable, the action was great, the film well was crafted. I also am really enjoying getting to see a different side of...

What’s going on at Wonders of Life?

Obviously it’s a massive character meet and greet...goodness I hope not. Epcot can’t afford to have even one pavilion in unused or underutilized shape for the 50th. Filling in with some high quality C/D tickets would be helpful to balance out the crowds from Test Track and Guardians.

Disney World may discontinue resort's Monorail system? False report

Apparently Disney has adopted the same strategy with maintenance as the Boston public transit system: “Meh” This is another example of Disney being penny-wise pound foolish. Refusing to invest the the parks has created a crisis situation where hard decisions have to be made that wouldnmt be...

Are you kidding me! The DIS WISHES/HAPPILY EVER AFTER compare

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but aside from the soundtrack there wasn’t much to draw me to Wishes. I feel Happily Ever After is the superior successor. Wishes pits to much emphasis on believing everything happens if you simply wish upon a Star. Happily ever After embraces more empowered...

Great Movie Ride closes for Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway

Pandora can't be held responsible for failing to overcome resort wide patterns. It did it's job and has been extremely well received. If people are interested in going to WDW, Pandora itself wouldn't convince them otherwise. Few people plan a vacation as expensive as a Disney one around a single...

    Spiderman Ride Patent

While this ride system could be used ideally for Spiderman ride...it doesn't have to be. It can be used for whatever IP Disney feels appropriate. This could easily be brought to WDW under another theme/IP.

Guardians to replace UoE and Ratatouille coming to Epcot

Let me be clear, RnR is not a bad ride, it's great and I enjoy it. But the story there is very music focused which allows for a rollercoaster in the dark to be a fitting choice. Guardians has a music element but with the story and characters a RnR type ride just wouldn't cut it; they need...

Guardians to replace UoE and Ratatouille coming to Epcot

One of my favorite coasters ever is Maverick at Cedar Point and it is far from the tallest one at that park at about 105' feet. I'll be honest I'm getting worried this is going to be just another Rockin Rollercoaster...

    Hollywood Studio's new name

I think Hollywood stills belongs in the name, considering Hollywood and Sunset Blvd remain the most prominent areas guests experience and now that Grand Avenue is cementing a SoCal feel. Disney’s Hollywood Adventure. Simple.

Great Movie Ride closes for Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway

I will be interesting to see how much and quickly Disney is able to recover the lost attendance numbers and begin growing again.

Great Movie Ride closes for Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway

I figured some of the other new things would even out the crowds among the parks but I guess it depends on whether attendance increases or not.

Great Movie Ride closes for Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway

I thinking Star Wars will be crowded for the first year but not to a crippling degree outside of peak periods. Things will settle and it will be tolerable by 2020/2021.

    The Rumor Tracking Thread

I am hoping we get some more information about Epcot in October. Even better concept art of Future World/whatever it will be called. On Brave at UK. A very touchy political subject nowadays. Disney shouldn’t risk getting involved with international/regional politics.

    Guardians of the Galaxy name?

I really am interested in what the plot is and how much the Peter Quill/Epcot Center connection will be played upon.

    Hollywood Studio's new name

I think the Hollywood aspect can stay, half the park is still heavily themed to look like "The Dream of Hollywood"/Hollywoodland.

    Slinky Dog Coaster

I think my "off the shelf" comment wasn't about the actual layout or technology, but rather the nature of a more simplistic outdoor coaster. I'm just not inspired by it. I could be wrong and hope that I'm pleasantly surprised but I'm just not as excited for this as I want to be

    Slinky Dog Coaster

Something beyond a basic outdoor coaster with props scattered around would be preferable. I would have preferred a detailed and immersive dark ride, at least themed to a Pixar IP that's not Toy Story. I simply find Toy Story land to look boring, an off-the-shelf carnival ride with a simple...
