Fairy tales can come true, you got to make 'em happen... it all depends on you. (comments welcome!)

I have not done this, but it did cross my mind last time I ran a 10K at WDW. I was in Corral A and when I finished there were still folks starting. Other than carrying around a medal, there's no way for the staff to know that you've already run vs running late. (I'm sure they would figure...

It was a slightly different race but I have run a donut mile. I couldn't eat a donut for the next 5 years so I highly recommend it if you're looking for a way to cut them out of your diet. 🤣. TBH, I still don't eat donuts but at least the sight of them no longer makes me want to hurl...

    Marathon Weekend 2025

SAFD: last year I went to whispering canyon for an all I could enjoy breakfast skillet which was perfect for consuming a lot of calories and its proximity to MK. Later in the trip we went to Hoop Dee Doo for the first time and that’s definitely in consideration for the post marathon meal in 2025.

I’ve used a pacer once. I liked that he was upbeat and kept giving encouraging words. However, he was pacing too fast and I decided to ditch them about halfway. In my mind, that’s the worst thing you can do. He kept saying we were banking time for later, but that’s not how distance running works…

Griff II is my favorite college mascot. He was also out after the races on Sunday but for the second year in a row, I didn’t see him there 😔. Oh well, at least I got him on Tuesday. He even “ran” the mile! Mostly he was pulled in a wagon 😅

Thank you! I think it really confirms that I had over cooked myself in the weeks prior. I’m glad I was able to recognize it and make it to race day in a better state.

We have tickets for two athletics sessions (aka track & field), water polo, diving, and beach volleyball! I was able to find the beach volleyball later, I assume after someone’s cart expired. I also plan to go spectate both of the marathons. Great minds 😄

💯 I should have been more specific about my use of the term “gem”. I just find it fascinating that Canova posts the workouts in such a public fashion.

    Marathon Weekend 2025

There were definitely spots this past January where I could not see the ground at all. All I could see is that the folks in front of me were not sinking into oblivion so I trusted that I wouldn’t either 😆. There is lighting most of the time which is what makes the dark parts so dark, my eyes...

Congrats on your perfect season! I know it didn’t quite end how you expected but I hope you still had fun! I love that outfit and your face glitter! Do you have recommendations on the glitter? I’ve been wanting to try some but no idea where to start.

I won't give in till I reach the end... and then I'll start again (comments welcome)

I was looking at the 48 feels like 43 and I’m a big wimp in the heat. I’d prefer to never run over 60.
