    Late Seating and 9PM Tasting?

It might have gotten better, but getting in and out could depend on which dining room you're in. When I was on the Wish in the spring, it took a very long time to get food at Arendelle. Our server even apologized in advance about it and said it was because the kitchen is rather far away - unlike...

    Loungefly/Wish question

I was on the Wish in April and purchased that very bag! It gets a lot of attention each time I use it. :)

    Is 3 nights enough

Oddly enough, while 3 nights might feel like a good sampler, it also results in fewer available activities. In October, my friend and I did 3 nights on the Wish. This was her first cruise ever and she was shocked by how hard it was to book activities and find the time to do the things that she...

Bathrooms at PC/going to resort after cruise

We were told to be in line with our bags to exit the ship a bit before 8am because the line can get long and we needed to be on the bus at 9am. That being said, we ended up being the first ones on the bus and sat for about 45 mins before heading out.

Are you a fan of Cruising or of Disney Cruising?

I've only been on two cruises. One on Royal Caribbean and one on DCL. The Royal ship was very crowded and I wasn't able to do all the things I wanted. However, the ship was newer and didn't have some of the upkeep problems the Disney ship had (we were on the Magic). On DCL, I got to do all the...

Senses Spa vs. other cruise lines

On my last cruise, I actually got a pedicure at the spa during the Sail-a-Wave party on the Magic. It was amazing to watch the land go by and the place was pretty empty. Unlike Royal Caribbean, there was no hard sell (just a "no thanks" needed) and I felt really pampered without it feeling like...

Adult pool lovers like me, are you insanely disappointed with the Wish's design??

Someone might have already mentioned this, but I was pretty surprised by the number of extra stairs and levels. https://images.app.goo.gl/Au9poLW3ANsrEb1J6 I can see this as being a nightmare for those with mobility restrictions.

Marvel cruise February 29, 2020 Disney Magic

Just saying hi since my husband and I will be on this sailing and it will be our first Disney Cruise. I picked this date because I will be turning 40 on the 29th. I'm really looking forward to it!

    Disney "Resort Casual"

Yes, it worked well for me when I was at a conference and needed something that worked both for meetings and was still comfortable to climb in and out of rides in. But I get it, to each their own. :)

    Disney "Resort Casual"

If you don't like dresses, would you wear tunics and leggings in the parks? That's my go-to when wanting to look nice at Disney. It's also easy to incorporate Disney accessories and items into these more simple outfits.

    Which resort?

I think he's just too wacky for me. I found the constant whistling and silly voices not to my taste. I think the show is great if you like that kind of high energy interactive stuff, but it was just too loud. I don't have any kids, so that might have added to it since a lot of the show seems...

    Which resort?

Last time I was at POR, I walked over to POFQ and was kinda jealous of the setup. It was more intimate, the bar had a nice live band (I'm not a Yee-ha Bob fan), and the food choices for quick service were more appealing to me. So this Oct, I've decided to give POFQ a shot instead.

    Trader Sam's crowds?

I've walked in with no problem around dinner time on weekdays. If you don't have kids, you'll be able to take advantage of when they ask that kids leave at 8pm. I've had to sit at the bar rather than get a table, but the bar staff is SO fun that I think I prefer it there.

REVAMP of Whispering Canyon Cafe BEGINS

With the changes to the Diamond Horseshoe, I'd like to see the antics move over there.

Help me decide about making reservations for Epcot's Le Cellier restaurant?

After years of sorta ignoring this place, I went for the first time this past Feb. I was a bit worried because I have a bunch of butchers in my family. This resulted in spending a lot of my childhood hearing my grandfather or uncles critique the quality of steaks at various restaurants. I'm...

    Magic Kingdom dinner

Skippers Canteen is great, even if you're just there to focus on the theming (for instance, go and read the book titles on the bookshelf). I've found the food there to be a little hit or miss, but I love the desserts. The great thing about Disney is that they're often ok leaving stuff off of the...

    Options for savory snack credits....

The only savory snack I can think of at Disney Springs is getting a bag of nuts at Goofy's Candy Co. And you are absolutely correct in your assumption of only getting sweets at Disney Springs. At the very least, it's true for me.

    Restaurants that surprised you.

I was surprised by Mama Melrose because I (perhaps unfairly) expected it to be bad since I'm so picky when it comes to Italian-American food. I also once booked Spice Road Table just to try something new, and would absolutely go there again.

Any chance for a Marvel Universe?

I could see the two sides coming to an agreement at some point, but I doubt it's a huge priority when Disney can have Marvel in its other parks and both Universal and Disney are able to focus on bringing other major IPs into their parks (Nintendo for Universal, Star Wars for Disney). With the...

How to make last Dis trip count and avoid being sad?

If it makes you feel any better, I now go to Disney with my family more as an adult than I did as a kid. I grew up loving Disney (only went twice or so as a kid) and once I was old enough, I started going with my friends and boyfriend. Then my mother and I decided to go to celebrate her...
