One year we did WL in August. There was a Damm heat wave. Like way worse then normal August. We took the boat to CR for CM breakfast. Stepped foot outside and changed all outr fastpasses to the evening. Took the boat back to WL and spent the day in the pool enjoying some 🍹 it was brutal.

I only ever stayed at the CR during covid so no monorail. Last summer it took us 90 minutes from the monorail platform at epcot to get to CM's though. I swore off all monorail resorts except the Poly after that. Honestly, I would consider it but would uber if there was a time constraint.

I had that last trip. Our waitress told it was ranked 2nd best burger at Disney. It lost to the bison burger at wilderness lodge (the outdoor place). She said she liked ale and compass burger better🤣

YC for the location. We tend to end our evenings at Epcot so walking home is clutch. I love CR tower but hate transferring monorail lines for Epcot. I tend to uber because I hate it that much lol. Last time we did monorail in the middle of the day took 80 minutes from exiting epcot to get to CR.

I would switch. I don't love having to switch monorail to epcot but it is a great location. Big rooms and balconies. I love how everything is in one building and the convenience to a qs and lounges.

I agree about rope drop. The only time my family ever rope dropped was at HS when they had the Jedi experience. No choice but to rope drop. We prefer a leisurely morning. We tend to do everything we want with genie +. We prefer relaxing in the lounge and getting a later start.

I vote WL. I'll he honest, I don't walk from the CR. I'm tired and prefer the monorail lol. I hate the monorail switching to epcot and would prefer a bus to it. I did like the size of the rooms at CR better however the lobby at WL is breatht. So peaceful.

August, plenty of time. I swear disney keeps pushing GF on me lol. That was the only cl available and for my September BWI trip they offered me an upgrade to GF for 100 total. That is a score. I let my AP go so I have no bargaining power.
