Top 3 (or more) favorite things to do -- that AREN'T rides!

Like PP said, it’s a purple wall in Tomorrowland. It’s become a thing you see all over Instagram/social media. Every park in wdw has its own wall!

Top 3 (or more) favorite things to do -- that AREN'T rides!

Photo ops at places like the purple wall, tree of life, etc. All the nighttime shows. Walking around Disney Springs and doing some shopping, this family loves souvenirs!

    What would you pick ?

We don’t have many date nights around here either so having one at Disney sounds amazing! BUT if you’ve never done mnsshp I would highly recommend that. We went for the first time last year and it’s my most favorite thing we’ve done on any trip. I would definitely say you should take some time...

How far out do you start planning?

Wow pregnancy brain must really be getting to me. We’re thinking the earliest we would go with the new baby is once he’s at least two, I just realized that would be Feb or April in 2021 not 2020! Ugh even farther away! I know I’ll be plenty busy with a new little one and possibly buying a...

How far out do you start planning?

Ah yes, Disney depression is the perfect term for what I’m feeling right now! The first 3ish months of this pregnancy I was very sick so I wasn’t even thinking about our recent Disney trip and missing it much. But now that I’m in my second trimester and have gotten my energy back I’m like “okay...

How far out do you start planning?

This is one thing I’m a bit nervous about once I get to the nitty gritty planning stage. DD was 5 when we took her for the first time and she did great doing full 12-14 hour days without breaks. DS will be around 2 1/2 for this next trip so I know I’ll have to be *extra* flexible, not get too...

How far out do you start planning?

Yes planning is definitely part of the fun! Plus, with the new toy story land opening this year and Star Wars land coming soon I guess it’ll be good for me to be on top of all the latest news and trip reports from people on here.

Anyone see Disney iPhone covers in the shops in any of the parks?

DH and I had cases made at the gift shop next to space mountain in November. You digitally choose the image/design you’d like and you can personalize it too. The case has held up really well so far. They also had a bunch of cases ready to buy, I remember seeing them in most stores all around the...

How far out do you start planning?

I’m currently pregnant with baby number 2, and I’m already dying to start planning his first trip! DH and I are talking about going during either February or April school vacation weeks in 2020, so about 2 years from now. I’ve already started to try to get rough estimates on cost for a family of...

    Too many character meals?

Personally, that doesn’t sound like too many at all. Since the rest of your meals will be counter service, my family and I would like the fact that these would be longer sit down meals to relax a bit.

First time Disney - are character meals worth it?or just do meet and greet

We love character meals, great way to knock out some meet and greets while you sit and relax and eat. We ate lunch at CRT during my daughters first trip (she was 5 at the time and is a huge princess fan) and had a great experience. Our dessert took longer than expected so our waiter ended up...

BOG 9:30pm and HEA at 9pm?

I think if you planned to watch in a spot like PP suggested, you should be fine! Also, you have a bit of a grace period with reservations. So if you end up in a traffic jam and show up 10 minutes late, you shouldn’t have a problem.

I’m so sad I missed these on our trip. I’m hoping they show up online at some point!

    Here now, service/staff at CBBR

:thumbsup2 Hope it stays that way for you. We just checked out this morning and I’ve gotten over my frustrations. We had a great last two days at parks and I’ll leave it at that.

***ABC Holiday Specials: Taping Begins November 3rd

We saw Sofia perform today. We also saw them film the castle lighting a few times, once with fireworks added. It was great!

    Here now, service/staff at CBBR

The trip as far as the hotel is concerned has been okay. I was given an eye roll after asking a question about the buses at check in, but other than that fine. We’ve also been very busy and not in the hotel a lot up until the past two days honestly though. If paying at checkout is the policy...

    Here now, service/staff at CBBR

So while doing laundry I accidentally locked my wallet in there and couldn’t get back in. Called 4 times and waited 45 minutes for someone to come before a random employee let me in. DD had to wait that entire time to go to the bathroom, she’s only 7 and I really thought she was going to have an...

    Here now, service/staff at CBBR

Today is day 7 of our 10 night stay at cabana bay for the first time. I would like I start this off by saying I’m not one for confrontation, I hate to feel like I’m a bother, I rarely send back food even if there’s a slight issue, etc. BUT I’m feeling a bit disappointed with our choice of resort...

MNSSHP 2017 - Strategy in the making.

I might! Once we’re home and I have some down time I’m sure I’ll be sad and missing all the fun we had so it might fill the void haha.
