    British Isles Cruise Weather

We have done this cruise, layers and rainwear are important, But I think that it was colder when we went to Norway. We have flown into Gatwick every time we've been to London and taken the Gatwick express into London which was super easy. I would try to plan out what you want to do in London...

Poll: When do you think Europe will open again?

We’re on the Iceland trip at the end of July, I’m not feeling too optimistic at this point. It leaves from Dover and ends in Copenhagen, I can’t quarantine for 14 days, take an 11 day cruise then may or may not get home. So many questions at this point. And I don’t want to only do Disney...

    One day in Barcelona

So we were going to go to Barcelona this past May, but. So we had contacted Barcelona tours and they had 2 different suggestions for tours both of which sounded lovely and they would pick you up at airport and drop you off at the hotel. So you might want to check into them

Coronavirus and DCL Megathread - Suspension of Departures for the fleet until early November. Booking only available from early December.

We have a January one booked because I thought that might actually go. Do I cancel now and move the money to the November cruise we booked? There’s my quandary. I too am not sure anything is going to leave anytime soon

Would you cruise with DCL if they asked to have proof of CV vaccine?

So my job will most likely require it and I’ll be in the first wave. Do yes I’ll get it

Strategies for snagging a room in a sold out cruise?

We’re booked on the Iceland cruise, and truthfully I’m having lots of doubts right now. I may book it again for 2022, I just have no sense what’s going to happen now. But I agree about using Dreams, it makes it so much easier. When there was a discount my TA got it for us, when on the day of the...

    Are they booking less cabins?

It’s a thought! And if I move my January Dream Cruise which I’m starting to doubt it’s an excellent idea

    Are they booking less cabins?

Well I’m glad I booked it yesterday! But it’s also a weird Fantasy cruise, with a Castaway double dip. It’s also the weekend of my birthday

Does DCL do Norway/Iceland cruises every year?

We are booked on this one for next year also, but I am totally afraid to get my hopes up. I’m just going to watch and see, at this point I’m sort of planning on my head to move it to 2022.

    New survey

No survey for us either, we have a cruise planned for Jan 2021 and July of 2021, I do not want to only do DCL excursions for the July trip that’s for sure and 250 would not be even a little bit helpful. Our January is just to the Bahamas and I would be so happy to double dip at Castaway.

Disney insurance even with the new flexible policy?

My father had a stroke the morning of our February cruise, suffice it to say we did not go, but the travel insurance reimbursed us and Disney reimbursed the things I had bought for the cabin. Buy insurance somewhere.

    New Flexibility Announcement for DCL

I like this, gives me options and I suspect that I will know ahead of time if cruising in January is a good or bad idea. At least it gives me some lead time

    Travel Agent

We’ve used Dreams Unlimited twice now, our first cruise with them we had to cancel due to a family emergency the morning of the cruise. It was grand to make one call and get help. And she helped me use the cruise insurance to be reimbursed. Now she’s rescheduled our May cruise to January and...

International travelers - PIF date before travel restrictions are suspended - what would you do?

I've had 2 cruises cancelled this year. I would cancel before the PIF date so you don't lose the money, its too much to lose. We booked Iceland for next year on opening day and I don't know if that will go right now. I do know I am not buying any airfare anytime soon, and I doubt I pay Disney...
