FOP - small change to loading + attention asthmatics

Yes, good idea - I'll stuff it in my collar just before getting on. I hope I'm fine, but you never know. Thanks!

FOP - small change to loading + attention asthmatics

I haven't ridden yet; you mention a 60 foot drop to the floor. Does the individual ride vehicle you sit on raise up that high, or does the floor go up that high, like a platform? Just trying to get an idea of what the ride is like, thanks!

FOP - small change to loading + attention asthmatics

I haven't ridden it yet, and I'm curious if your arms are technically "free?" Bizarre reason I have for asking - I am somewhat prone to motion sickness, so when trying something with motion like this for the first time, I always stuff a plastic (Target-type) bag in my pocket in case I feel sick...

Do a lot of people wear "athletic" wear to the parks?

Love the idea of a mid-day change after a break at the hotel; kind of the best of both worlds. I could totally see myself doing that on our longer family trips. This particular trip is a shorter one and I don't have any ADR's, as the focus of this trip is for Food & Wine. But we're doing all...

Do a lot of people wear "athletic" wear to the parks?

Loving all the replies, thanks! It's like a whole new world just opened up, lol. And it makes a ton of sense...walking miles and miles in the parks, moisture-wicking materials for the heat and sweat, less crabbiness from sweating in uncomfortable clothes...sign me up! A minor foot issue also...

Do a lot of people wear "athletic" wear to the parks?

I'm one of those holdouts who never leaves the house in my workout clothes unless I'm heading to the gym. However, I had to run a few errands the other day and wasn't able to stop at home to change before the gym...and running errands was gloriously comfortable, lol. It got me wondering if...

All the info here helps ease my mind about getting around this day - thank you!

About how long is the walk from Saratoga Springs to Disney Springs?

On my upcoming trip, I want to travel from Animal Kingdom to Disney Springs (too early in the day for the bus to be running that route), and folks have suggested going to Saratoga for the most efficient way to get there (aside from Minnie Van/Uber). Wondering if anyone has done the walk from...

    New Disney Dining Show is....

I would also add that I am glad they gave their initial thoughts while still at the restaurant, and then gave their thoughts when they were in the studio a few days later. I feel like quite often when I'm at a restaurant I may think one thing, but then taking a little time to mull it over can...

Would you say Expedition Everest is smooth like 7DMT or rough like BTMRR?

Yes, the most recent time I rode BTMRR I felt it in my head, too! It was my first time riding it at night so I thought maybe that was throwing me off a bit, but it just felt more rough than I remembered. Or maybe it's just me getting older, lol.

Looking for transportation suggestions - from AK to Disney Springs to Epcot

I'll be park hopping a lot on my upcoming trip, but I also want to spend a few hours at Disney Springs one afternoon. My plans are AK in the morning, then Disney Springs for the early afternoon, and then heading to Epcot. I've read that buses from the parks to Disney Springs don't always...

    August 2017 Trip Notes

Thanks for posting! Question on Mission Space: Green. I see you mentioned it was boring, just wondering if it gave you any feeling of motion sickness? I've never done either side of this ride, but was considering the green for my trip in the fall. I know it's supposed to still have some feeling...

Anyone else would question my sanity, but you are my people...UPDATE, DONE!!!

Looks perfectly normal to me! I've got a manilla folder and a spiral notebook next to me as I'm organizing my FP booking plans right now!

Would you say Expedition Everest is smooth like 7DMT or rough like BTMRR?

That's good to hear. I try to avoid thrilling rides, so the tamer the better. I normally skip them, but hoping to join my sister so she's not riding alone too much. I do ride 7DMT, BTMRR, and Test Track. Speed is good, I just don't like drops.
