Just booked a savanna view room at AKL for Sept 6-13. So excited, as we're celebrating big things on this trip - our wedding anniversary, my husband and I both turning 40, and most important, the completion of his cancer treatment! Bring on the heat, nothing some slushy drinks won't help 🥂

The cinnamon apple is so good! i like to get that plus the chocolate sauce in the pressed brioche ice cream sandwich 😍

We're at AKL from Sept 8-15, first time back since 2019 and i cannot wait!

We always split a pineapple upside down cake topped with Dole Whip in MK, so yummy! Also, the grilled corn at AK is delicious, and I always ask for a little extra seasoning on it. The pineapple lumpia in Pandora at AK is also a fave of mine, but I know its not everyone's cup of tea.

This is what we always do on our last night, too. Love to wander through World Showcase to snack and shop and soak it all in ❤️

We love Homecomin', Wine Bar George and Frontera Cocina best! And Morimoto for the ribs :)

Oh, I thought of another - the filet with mac and cheese at Jiko is delicious. We went for dinner one time, and it wasn't on the menu, and they still made it for me - I felt so special!

I hope you love it! My husband and I stayed at AKL for the first time for our honeymoon, and it became our favourite immediately :)

We've eaten SO many amazing things on our trips, but one thing that surprised me with how much I love it is the sikil pak (pumpkin seed dip) at Frontera Cocina in Disney Springs. It comes with cucumber, jicama and tortilla chips, and i could eat it as my main mean!

Just booked Jambo House for September 8-15 and I am so excited! It will be our first trip back to the magic since September 2019, and our first stay back at AKL since January 2019! We booked a standard view king room this time round - anyone know the odds of us receiving a partial savannah view...

We're going to be rebooking our late Aug/early Sept 2020 trip to September 2021, and while that definitely sucks, I'm actually really excited to check out the 50th anniversary celebrations!

Let's just do our best to stay positive for each other - I don't know about you, but I need this trip like crazy!

Trying so so hard not to worry myself sick - not easy since worrying is one of my greatest talents :crazy2:. We're not even supposed to land at MCO until about 5pm on Friday, September 6, but I am just so unfamiliar with hurricanes and their aftermath!
