"Official" 2019 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party: Oh-So-Jolly Holiday Celebration

I guess this isn't really an answer to your question, but my daughter also does not like the loud noises of the fireworks so we got her some noise reduction earmuffs for like $10 on Amazon and they worked great. Just a thought to try something so you don't have to move so far away you can't...

Questions about adding a guest mid-trip

I did this before for my mom, who joined us mid-trip. I think they can charge an added fee, but it was waived when I went to the front desk for her, when I was asking about it back then (a few years ago most people said they had the fee waived by the front desk).

    **November 2019***

Seems like this trip is sneaking up on me way more than my previous ones, outside of making ADRs and FPs I don't feel like I've done any thinking for this trip. I will say I'm so glad to be going in November for the first time, normally we are mid-late October and still get some really hot...

    **November 2019***

We missed the free dining discount by a week, now weighing the options - give up all our ADRs and move the trip back a week or stay put...

    **November 2019***

Ah didn't even think about GE - so I guess they won't need to offer it in the fall to fill rooms. Also good to see another Who dat in here... I'm scheduling my trip to leave right after the Saints beat the Falcons. :)

    **November 2019***

I've searched but didn't see anything - normally free dining is announced by now right? I seem to recall that always being an April thing. Has anyone read any rumors on it?

    **November 2019***

We wanted to take a year off from Disney, and I guess we made it 12.5 months so that counts right? Haven't officially booked but looking at the 11/11 week.

How have the crowds been in the last week or so? Looking like we may actually get a little reprieve from the heat for our trip next week

MK "Happily Ever After" Dessert Party (Parties) Discussion

I'm doing the before dessert party on the same night. We have done the before party earlier this year, and the crowds outside of the fenced area are crazy after the show. We hung out in there for 20 minutes or so while it died down. That doesn't really help you too much other it will be busy...

Minnie Vans now charging flat fee plus mileage.

As far as I know, if you don't need car seats then going to MK would be the only time the Minnie Van would be the better option (skip TTC).

*** The Official September 2018 Thread *** let's get started to have some fun

Not a September specific question but hopefully someone here can help with a question about magic bands - My wife and I are going in a couple weeks with another couple and staying at the Swan. The two of us have annual passes, and the other couple bought tickets and linked them to their MDE...

Walt Disney World SWAN, DOLPHIN & SWAN RESERVE RESORTS Information & Questions

I'm sorry if this has been covered before but I searched and didn't see it - do the Minnie Vans run to Swan & Dolphin also? (We used them on our last trip, stayed on Disney property- and they were great, would like to use again if possible)

*** The Official September 2018 Thread *** let's get started to have some fun

Today was our FastPass day and the Disney servers were a dumpster fire. With this trip being such a short stay it was slim pickings for our trip, but since we're going more for food and wine than anything it'll be alright.

Toy Story Land Annual Passholder Event

Was able to sign up for 9/25 - 7am, that's the day we leave to come home so will wake up early, go enjoy some Slinky Dog then head home. It looked like that was the only day available during our trip, or did I do something wrong? (9/22-9/25?) Not that it matters at this point though.

Walt Disney World SWAN, DOLPHIN & SWAN RESERVE RESORTS Information & Questions

I have a couple of questions, and I assume they've been answered a bunch before but I apologize this thread is a little bit of a beast to search through. We are staying at the Swan in September, and currently have APs, I assume we simply need to link our reservation in MDE to book our fast...

2018 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival: August 30 to November 12, 2018

Thank you - that's kind of what I was thinking. I was just looking at dates for work, and the eat to beat and really for us checking in on a Saturday and out on a Tuesday may work best. So hopefully the Sunday evening wouldn't be too bad and we'd only have 1 night of misery (or to avoid).
