    Wow...Easiest ADRs ever?

I mean A, B, and C all work for me. The issue is they use to have great food and ambience and it cost around $10 per person. Now the food is still similar quality and it costs $80 per person. So for instance, my family use to pay around $50 to eat there for breakfast/lunch and the experience...

DVC Club Level and Home Resort Survey

Agree with these comments. I'm wondering though (if they go the trust route with poly2) if there could be an option for poly1 members to convert their points into the trust (this would require paying large amounts of money to Disney obviously, lol) and have access to the tower? That would...

DVC Trust Eroding - Trust Thermocline

We own DVC, and are likely using it to visit universal studios our next trip. I just started planning, but I'm still so unhappy with WDW in so many ways. The main thing I use to enjoy was the all-inclusive feel a vacation had, but now that is completely gone. I don't think we will find a better...

Let's speculate about Polynesian some more!

Fireworks view would probably be the best sell.

ROFR Thread October to December 2023 *PLEASE SEE FIRST POST FOR INSTRUCTIONS & FORMATTING TOOL*

She left a company that many people used (Mason) and did a good job there (based on disboard members experiences). She has always been recommended here, but there is more chat lately since she either joined or started a new company (I'm not sure which...) At least, that's what I have pieced...

I used Cammy recently. It was awesome, no issues.

Let's speculate about Polynesian some more!

Personally, I think you're right...I think the new studios will also be inferior to the current ones in similar ways to VGF. I think they will also have less bathroom space.

Let's speculate about Polynesian some more!

Yes, and like I have been saying all along this is a huge benefit to their best poly customers - the people who have already bought and own there. I'm waiting for an official announcement but hoping it's true and looking forward to adding on and getting direct points along with my resale ones.

They might be better off taking an airplane.

Not for sure but I think we're going to cross a Cali property off our list

We were there a few weeks ago and it wasn't bad, so I'm thinking OBB as well as maybe the specific room you are staying in may play a role. I felt the same way about the DLH. I don't get the hype. We actually stayed at all 3 hotels and I preferred PPH to DLH. That said, we did get a free room...

    The Poly2 Pricing Thread

Maybe not, if it's priced correctly in comparison to the other resort. Hasn't RIV sold just as well as VGF when priced a little lower?

Shiny new blue card (to add to my current non-blue card points) here I come! (yes I'll take it with a grain of salt but let me have my joy)

    Dining Plan Returning

Yeah, with great sadness we are abandoning any hope of the DDP. I don't think we would even come in the ballpark of breaking even. I feel like covid stole 2 DDP trips from us when my child was 8 & 9 (I mean, it did, lol). Now that it's back and they're 11 it's just not worthwhile for what they...

Pretty sure we all know who this broker is. I've just accepted her for who she is at this point, lol. I never offer with her unless Its within $10pp lower, there's just no point.

Nice deal. Sorry, I had to LOL at the drunk one. All you can do is laugh. "Drinking rum before noon makes you a pirate, not an alcoholic" (tried to edit to give credit for where I remembered this quote from but nothing concrete out there lol)

There's the drunk monkey theory which seems to be checking out. He just spent a few months at rehab and now he's adjusting to this new transition.

Rope Drop Strategy for Disneyland and Disney California Adventure with Lightning Lanes and Individual Lightning Lanes

We just got back a couple weeks ago, and it was our first time there (WDW vets). I have rules for myself at Disney that I will only pay ILL if we haven't rode it before or love it and can't stand the wait, lol. ROTR I can't comment on much, we did it at WDW and while it was ok, we did pay ILL...

    UY choice-Teacher

Personally I think December could be one of the best choices for a teacher. Covers Christmas/winter/spring break and summer. It covers August because if you didn't cancel your trip and bank your points by July 31st they would be in holding with any other use year anyway.

    RoFR back??

I saw this too which led me here, lol. The broker who posted it is awesome so no doubt in my mind it’s true. The resorts they usually target come in cycles and this time it’s VGF.
