I would take the time to go and check out Animal Kingdom Lodge. The Jambo House lobby is supposed to be beautiful and you can see the animals from the overlooks.

We stayed at Grand Floridian on our last trip and I was disappointed. It was on my bucket list and although it was beautiful, it didn’t live up to the hype for me. I would choose Beach Club. Our plan for our next trip is to do a 10 day split stay between Beach Club and Poly.

I would suggest July because, as PPs said, the fall decorations go up in August and you can’t be sure of when. They might decide to add more MNSSHP nights next year and put the decorations up early but I think (hope!) you’d be safe in July.
