You still had the cards for them to put the refund on? Guess I shouldn't have thrown mine used ones away but didn't think I would need them.

So if they allow me to reschedule a cruise for later on then I could maybe cancel that one outside of the window I need for a full refund? I hear DCL is much more strict with stuff than WDW is.

I am about to experience this as well. But I only have one gift card since when I purchase a new card, I transfer it to my main card then throw that one away. Then when I get to $1000 on that card I make a payment and start over. Since they can't refund more than $1000 on a single gift card...

Well I don't want anyone to feel like we don't want to be there because we wouldn't have spent a few thousand dollars to be there if we didn't, however, they should also realize that we didn't pay a few thousand dollars to ONLY come to their wedding. Just sayin.... lol

Has anyone been involved in a Wedding on Castaway Cay? I'm curious about how much of the day it burns up. Not that I don't want to be there, I just want to be able to plan other things to do during our stop there after or before the wedding. I just don't know what's all involved. Thanks!

Thanks for all the great ideas you guys? For a Blue Lagoon trip, is there only a boat there in the morning and one back in the afternoon or do they have boats that run all day? For example, if we get over there and are ready to come back after a few hours?

Hey everyone, next April will be our first Disney Cruise and my wife and son's first cruise ever! Are the shore excursions necessary? Isn't there plenty to do on Nassau or Castaway Cay without having to pay extra? I just don't want to spend the extra money if we can find stuff to do that...

Yeah, I'm not a big Star Wars fan at all and am less of a fan of shoulder to shoulder crowds! We are going to take a year or so off and maybe go at the end of 2020 before all the 2021 craziness begins. I agree with you that Pop is a great place to be for your plan as long as the Skyliner works...

I feel like this is an ambitious plan with a lot of ifs! I'll be curious to see if it works out. That's still pretty close to opening day so I would be more optimistic if it was in early November. I'm rooting for you though. I am staying away from that place for a while!
