2 weeks at WDW on the cheap possible?

We wouldn't rent a car. We would uber to SoG and then use their transportation or walk to Poly. If we stayed off site to save $1000 we would then need a car and pay for park parking bringing ua right back to where we are. Its sad but seems the only way to cut costs is to cut days off our trip.

2 weeks at WDW on the cheap possible?

We are planning a 2 week trip mid October this year for my DDs 16th bday. We qualify for SoG. But no matter how I crunch the numbers, I cant seem to get us under $6000 and thats not even counting spending money....for 3 of us. SoG benefits are transportation whether using theirs or short walk...

    old but new to WDW?

If we stay off site we would rent a car/suv. So the cost of rental and gas would be saved if staying onsite. But this is where I am torn. We have some time to work this out as our trip isnt until Sept/oct 2023. But Lots to consider. We saved a TON on our 2nd trip staying off site and using an...

    ***Official September 2023 Thread***

Hello. I am not sure if asking here is the right place. But we are torn between September and October 2023. Sept is a plus because of crowd levels and prices for onsite resorts. But I am concerned about hurricane season and shut downs. October is a plus because less likely to shut down AND DDs...

    old but new to WDW?

Why not the other parks? Not as much wait? I remember in the times of the FP it was nice to have those passes already set. I take it the crowds are less due to crowd control since the rona?

    old but new to WDW?

thank you for the info. We are definitely planning on the Genie+. I didnt realize ADRs have changed. But thats a good point. We have a few places we loved before that we wanna dine at again. We have never exclusively stayed onsite with no car. If we do stay onsite it will be at a value...

    old but new to WDW?

Thank you for the mention. I didnt know staying onsite gives you the 30 min early entry. That will be great for those attractions that require the ILL. So that will save us a good amount of money. DO you happen to know, are the buses still running well and easy to get when needed?

    old but new to WDW?

What is the Cosmic Rewind? Is that new? We are planning on the Genie+ for 10 days. Its gonna be tough forking out $450 for 3 of us for the 10 days but I think it will be worth the experiences and not spending a lot of time waiting. I saw some videos on ILL and many said it will be difficult to...

    old but new to WDW?

I apologize that this may already be answered somewhere. But we have been to WDW twice. Once in 2007 for DD's 10th bday and again 2008. I prided myself on how much I learned and knew about strategies for park hopping, dining, reservations, etc. The other day we decided to do a sweet 16 bday trip...

I do believe I read that they will ask to show Costco card for validation. So good thinking on that. I also rebooked about 10.00 cheaper with AP code and 25.00 coupon. Hope it goes even lower.

    November 2018 Car Rental Watch

Check Costco. Also we arrive near midnight on Oct 30. But I booked our rental for the 31st at midnight because it dropped the price a bit. Not sure but that may be helpful for you.
