    Hotel Help!

Torn between a suite at Park View or a suite at Camelot Inn. Opinions? Background info: going for 6 nights with a 2 year old. We want space so he can sleep in a different room, have room to play, and room for our stroller.

    Disneyland Reopening Speculation Superthread

So anyone think there’s any way this will change? I remember earlier in the pandemic Newsom opened the state up earlier than he said he would... I just don’t see how much longer he can sustain this without major pushback. I actually have agreed with many of his decisions during the past few...

    Disneyland Reopening Speculation Superthread

Wondering if I should even be excited about our December 2021 trip anymore. What a bummer, especially for those who have lost jobs and income

Parents at DLR - how do you room share?

I will definitely look into this place! It’s on my list, thank you!

Thank you all! I read every reply and for some great input and ideas. I appreciate everyone taking the time to respond!

Parents at DLR - how do you room share?

Parents who have taken toddlers - how do you survive without a suite? Our toddler will be 2.5 when we go and he’s very used to sleeping in a dark room with his sound machine and no other distractions. We plan on going back to the hotel midday for naps but I don’t want to have to lay there...

Planning for 2021: Nov. or Dec. Dates?

We are planning our toddler’s first trip next year! We can’t do much in the way of planning this early but we are able to request work off and at least block out a week. I know things are different now with Covid, but historically, which week would be best? We want to see the holiday decor and...

    I know this is insane...

Thanks everyone! I enjoyed reading everyone’s opinions. A trip before baby isn’t possible as there is a lot we need to save for. We will definitely decide if a trip is worth it and doable once the baby is closer to the age we want to take him/her. It does seem like it depends more on the child...

    I know this is insane...

Oh yeah definitely not booking for a LONG time! Lol. I’m just desperate to go back

    I know this is insane...

but I am DYING to go back. I’m pregnant and we won’t be back for a while even though we’re only in Nor Cal! So naturally I’m already planning my next trip. With a baby coming and my working less once it’s here money will be a little more tight so I told my husband we better start saving now...

    Security Lines

We found morning lines to be a bit quicker as more stations were open. We tend to arrive 30-60 minutes after the park opens though. The afternoon lines were a little more unpredictable.

    Security Lines

I would walk or take the CCI shuttle and just use the Harbor security lines. Driving around that area can take just as long it seems. We were there for 5 days and only faced one crazy long wait in the line for security. With that being said, when we had reservations we did make sure to leave...

    5 days....Thoughts

Seriously!!! The race part of the ride is way too short. I don’t get why anyone would wait hours for it.

    5 days....Thoughts

Totally agree! I was surprised with the crowds and how rude some people were. The large crowds make it hard to enjoy the park and I know it’s a big money maker for Disney but I wish there were more blockouts and restrictions for all levels APs. No offense to any APs but when you have those few...

    5 days....Thoughts

Just finished up 5 days in the parks! This was our first trip in ten years so the parks are definitely a lot different now. Pros: The parades and fireworks are awesome. Disney really knows how to put on an amazing show. And their crowd control is top notch. The CMs were all friendly and...

    Security Lines

My husband took stuff out of his pockets when we went through the metal detectors.

    Security Lines

Happy to report that we are still here and we haven’t had any slow line issues like Tuesday’s chaos. I do think X-ray would be a lot better instead of individual bag searches. Many times Security doesn’t even search most of my backpack, I could easily hide something if I wanted to, which means...

    Security Lines

Anyone know why Disney doesn’t use X-ray to scan bags like Universal does? Been standing in the Security line for about 20 minutes and have moved maybe 20 feet!!! Ridiculous.

    Medication in the Park

Thanks guys! I wasn’t sure how strict security is about this stuff.

    Medication in the Park

How strict is Disney Security when it comes to bringing medication into Disneyland? For example, for an asthma inhaler does it need to be in the original box? Can I bring Motrin in a plastic bag instead of a bottle? Stuff like that! Thanks.
