    Wedding invitation with rules

I am so thankful we got married before weddings became what they are now. It's really sad how much social pressure there is for everything to be perfect and unique and amazing. It causes so much unnecessary stress. Which leads me to my 2nd point. My main takeaway from this thread is that I wish...

    Best Deluxe for 'casual' trip

We just had a wonderful stay at YC. I also loved WL. I haven't stayed at the others. I have a hard time with the price per night at GF and Poly. That's a "maybe someday" at this point. It sounds like you can't go wrong though! I'd love to try GF.

Disney+ is removing over 50 shows and movies on Friday :(

Disappointed they took off Mysterious Benedict Society. I told the kids we'd watch it after reading the book, which we haven't done yet. Oops.

Am I bad parent? Not walking to take my kids again?

Your kids have been several times. If you want to try going without them, do it! It makes for a less expensive trip and a different feel. We did a short trip w/o kids last year and it was so much fun. Easier getting around in general. We can eat at different restaurants that we like, but the...

Guardians of the Galaxy for ride chickens

There is a backwards launch into the main room of the ride, where the main tracks are. It's one of the most thrilling moments. It's so fun! Interesting. We were in the middle of the train every time we rode it this last trip, and it was perfect! Rows 3/4 and 5/6. If you're nervous, I'd ask to...

What is your favorite park backpack?

I love this one. Just big enough for everything I want to have, but not so big that I overpack it...

    Yacht, beach, or boardwalk?

We just had our 1st stay at YC recently with our family of 5. Kids are a bit younger than yours (9, 12, 14) but it was a great fit for us. Spacious for a standard room. It was our 1st stay at the Crescent Lake area and I'd absolutely stay there again. I'm tempted to try BWI at some point now...

Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

I'm sorry they put your stuff on the ground. That is really rude. I'd consolidate belongings to one chair, but never put them on the ground. Did you know there is a clothesline in the shower? That funny looking round thing up high by the shower door has it wound up inside. You pull it across...

    ***Official May 2023 Thread***

Our dessert party was on 5/25. It rained that evening for several hours, including during the fireworks. We almost missed them because they moved up the time to 9:00 instead of 9:20. We were riding Tron and Space Mt between 7;45-8:30. We finally made it over to check in for the post dessert...

    ***Official May 2023 Thread***

Music to my ears! I don't think anyone saw such a sustained crowd slowdown coming. It's great news for us who are going this month! And with the new deals and discounts for summer, it seems like they are expecting a summer slump. We're doing both at early afternoon times. I was starting to...

    ***Official May 2023 Thread***

Nice! Glad you're having a great time. I think we may hop over to HS on the 26 and take advantage of the later hours there to ride more rides during the 2 F! shows and stick with watching the one on the 24 at 9. I hit a wall last week with planning/researching. I think I've planned all I can...

I checked the hotel's website but didn't see any mention of a laundry room. Is there self service laundry available at RPR?

Family of 5–best and worst time to go?

I wouldn't go while I was pregnant, but we don't go often. I want to be able to ride everything!

    May hours shortened

I was disappointed they took away hours, too. I didn't know they'd do that. By the time we finish dinner we might not even be able to go back into the park. At least if the crowds are low, we may not need more time anyway. Still feels a little unfair for them to do that at the last minute.

First time Universal visitor need a restaurant please

Thanks @wdwrule . I went ahead and reserved Cowfish, but I am also considering Bubba Gump since we've never been. Does it take very long to get our of the park and into City Walk?

First time Universal visitor need a restaurant please

Do you need a reservation to eat at either of these? And what's the cancellation policy at UOR? BigFire has no times available for dinner on our dates, but Cowfish does. Just wondering if we can still get in without a reservation.

ROYAL PACIFIC RESORT INFO...FAQ and more......

We also have a Standard room. We'll be checking in later in the evening, after dinner. Is that too late to be making requests at the desk? We'll be there two nights, so I'm not sure which room we get matters very much. I'd like to be closer to the walking path.

    ***Official May 2023 Thread***

This was what I was hoping to do. We don't go often so I don't want to skip nighttime shows, but I see how low wait times get during the fireworks and I wish we could take advantage! It does keep us up pretty late if we go to the 10:30 show though, as I am planning to rope drop as much as...

    ***Official May 2023 Thread***

Very good point, especially with those new announcements from Disney. I know people have been waiting for the dining plan to come back and for park reservations to go away. Now I wonder if people will even postpone later 2023 trips to 2024 just for those reasons...
