Agree; there have only been a couple of reports of unfortunate souls who got shut out of the race they wanted due to either rD IT glitches, personal computer issues, or just incredibly bad luck with multiple browsers going. More people willing to share more links certainly helped. I'm not on...

Great idea. All the better if we all had to sign up for access in advance and had to have 10+ rD posts.

As others have speculated, the reason that the races are taking a bit longer to sell out than in past years may be because of rD allowing fewer people in the queue at a time. So the waits seem a bit longer, but folks still generally get the races they want.

I was lucky again this time around with a short wait right from the start. My DD and I are in for the half.

Some people have had luck clicking on a random size/gender and then clicking on what you want.

All of mine are over an hour, but on one the status bar has moved a bit Edit; the window with the moving status bar now shows 19 minutes. Keep an eye on the slider!

She is "just, just" going to do the half. Lots of work and family issues will leave her little time for training this fall. Thanks for asking!

rundisney.com seems to be back up. Only the 10K sold out.

Parts of rundisney.com just went down, including the registration page which shows which races are open and which races have sold out.
