2020 ROOM ONLY cannot add tickets or book park Reservations until further notice! !!!!

I agree, even though it affects me too. I'm kicking myself because we rented 11 months out, so we had loads of time to make our plans (including buying trip cancellation insurance-- enter COVID--) now it's too late to get that insurance. Totally our fault, but there's no way we knew in February...

    Reservation in November-ticket question

Following for updates. We rented through David's for Christmas and don't have tickets yet. I'm torn between taking a wait and see approach, and trying UC tickets. Can anyone think/ experienced of any cons with going with the UC ticket route? EDIT: just went to UC and they aren't selling tickets...

    Celebrating Jack's 21st birthday Disney style! ~ update 08/22

Yes, we're Canadian and teachers too! It will certainly be a different experience than I had hoped if there's no Candlelight Pro or MVMCP due to crowd restrictions, but that's beyond our control. We'll see!

    Celebrating Jack's 21st birthday Disney style! ~ update 08/22

I'll come with you as you plan! We're booked to go Dec. 19-23, and staying at BWV for the first time. I am holding back my excitement until the parks and border open, and MVMCP tickets go on sale. Planning a Disney getaway helps me through the hard times, but I can't bring myself to plan a trip...

    International travel restrictions

We're in the same boat. I could have written this post word for word. I'm just waiting with baited breath. Hopefully things will be clearer by the fall.

What is your Disney shameful secret?

    Sorry, Hall of Presidents ;)

Tortured on using DME. Any advice appreciated

Hey there! I usually drive to WDW, but just came back from a last-minute trip and therefore took DME for the first time. It was a dream. No complaints here. Even if the time evens out with getting a rental, I found it was stress-free. It was nice after a (long) day of travel and a late arrival...

What is your Disney shameful secret?

Here's mine: - Space Mountain and Haunted Mansion are not my rides.:confused3 I can appreciate the detail in HM but I don't like it. And I just don't think SM is a good ride. - The worst part of WDW is not the cost, the commercialism, the heat or the crowds; it's rude people. I've never been...

I'm home. Severely depressed. Spring Break was a nightmare

Oh boy. That sounds stressful. I'm sorry you've come home feeling depressed. I think there's a lot to be learned by an experience like this and while I sympathize, it seems like your expectations were out of alignment. I can appreciate the sentiment that you shouldn't have to research to have a...

    Whirlwind last minute trip complete!

I just got home from a short and intense last-minute getaway with my sister, mother and preschooler nephew. We had a tragic loss in our family and threw caution to the wind and escaped to WDW for 3 days (plus one on each end for travel). I finished work at 3pm, drove to Toronto and flew into...

Arrival late evening at resort -or- stay off site and arrive the next day in the AM

HI! Your trip sounds so fun! I just got back from a quick last minute trip. I landed at MCO at midnight and used ME to get me to All-Star Movies. While I was staying there, several people got off the bus with me for a 1 night place to crash before checking into their "home" hotel. Concierge...

    Art of Animation art classes

Hello! I've heard that there are animation classes at AofA. Are these still happening? Are they daily? If you've been would you recommend as part of a non-park day? How long does a session usually last? I'm having a heck of a time finding information about the specifics. Many thanks!

    Toronto summer heat/humidity vs MCO

We went in August in 2016 and are going again this August. I describe the heat as "punch you in the gut hot". Like, it took the breath out of us. But it is totally doable. TBH, if going in August, I'd 100% stay on property to allow for a quick jaunt back to the resort to swim and escape the heat...

Anyone here hoping for FD when it drops (soon?)

No. I compared CDN discount tickets, room discounts and free dining. No matter how I slice it, the cdn ticket discount is the biggest savings. Factor into that that rumors suggest that 1) hoppers will be required and 2) it will only be QS DDP at value/moderate. I would have to forego the CDN...

    Sesame Place

I'm just seeing this now, but I hope you have a chance to read my reply. We've been to Sesame Place twice (once with a 1, 3, 5 year old; once again when they were 3,5, 7 years old). Both visits were precious. The atmosphere is so positive. Remember those original Sesame Street songs that we knew...

    My Disney Experience Still Down

I was having these issues on Chrome for the whole weekend. I tried Explorer today and it worked. Good luck. How frustrating :(
