Please Put Your Arms Down, There are Kids Behind You

I made it clear that no one should tell other people how to enjoy the ride. Sheesh. I provided a strategy for other parents. My title may have come across that way, that's why I tried to clarify in my post that I wasn't telling others how to enjoy the ride. Maybe if I edit the title, people...

Please Put Your Arms Down, There are Kids Behind You

Why was your response so hostile? I made it clear that my post wasn't to tell others what to do on the ride, but to make other parents aware what could happen if ride photos are important to them. I know your hostile response has more to do with you than me, so no big deal. Have a magical day.

Please Put Your Arms Down, There are Kids Behind You

Just wanted to give newbie parents to Disney World (like I was) a heads up. A don't- make-this-mistake-like-I-did warning. I'm back home from Disney downloading photos from Memory Maker / Photo Pass. Aside from the slight inconvenience of sifting thru Jedi Training images to find my kids and...

Confirmation that Tony's is still horrific?

It is NOTHING like Olive Garden. The Olive Garden has delicious food. I went in with an open mind. The steak was rubbery, bland and terrible. My kids finished their chicken nuggets and fries. My husband and I only finished our wine and appetizer. The caprese appetizer was pretty good and the...

    WORST DISNEY DINING EXPERIENCE

Tony's Town Square is as disgusting as EVERYONE says. The only reason I dined there was for the FoF tickets. The service was fine. The atmosphere, sweet. The food...inedible. I'm waiting for someone from the Humane Society to rescue Lady and the Tramp from that disaster of a restaurant.

Here now - Coranado Springs 5/16/18

I didn't think construction was that bad. I was there 5/19-26. I was in Ranchos 7A. Pepper Market is totally disgusting and the Cast Members are miserable and slow. Most of them look like they hate their job. Cafe Rix has amazing chocolate mousse and chocolate chip cookies...and great service.

    Calling Little Girls-Princess...

Who else secretly (ok, openly) thinks it is super adorable whenever a Cast Member addresses their daughter as princessprincess:?! It made me smile every time. So sweet. Absolutely magical.:tinker:

    How Young is Too Young?

Such an honest response. Love it. There are probably many parents who feel/felt the same. For me: dealing with a stroller, breast/bottle feeding, diaper changes, the heat (although March might not be bad), the crowds, the crying (from me, not my little one) does not seem like a pleasant vacation.

    Ohana is Wonderful!

My husband and I went to Ohana for a date night while the kids were at Pixar Play Zone. We arrived at 6:25 for our 6:35 dinner reservation. Since we were a little early, we went to the lounge for a lapu lapu and a smoked turkey. We ordered our drinks (which were strong and delicious) and we...

Eek What Was That Huge Bug...?!

I sure did notify the front desk. The resort smelled heavily of bug spray chemicals, especially on Saturday. Another interesting thing I witnessed the day after I reported the bug incident...there was an "Orkin" type person spraying the kitchen and trash collection area in the Pepper...

Guest experiences with daily room checks

Stayed at Coronado with my family from 5/19-5/26 and no one ever came to our room for a room check (not while we were there, anyway). Our room was always cleaned by the time we returned in the afternoon or early evening and we had towel animals nightly. The only time I thought we might be...

    Pixar Play Zone Review

Unfortunately, no. They do not take any pictures of the kids for photo pass/memory maker. No autographs, either. That's too bad because I think a lot of parents would enjoy having those memories. Your kids are going to enjoy themselves!

    Pixar Play Zone Review

You can drop your kids off starting at 5pm. The event is located on the 4th Floor of the Contemporary. It's located adjacent to the gift shops on that floor (don't turn towards Chef Mickey's). Drop off requires a parent/guardian to fill out some paperwork. Name of child, DOB...etc. You do...

Early Åkerhus breakfast for girls, what should the boys do?

FWIW, I booked that breakfast to catch a few princesses at once. My son grubbed while my daughter basked in the princess interaction (which is phenomenal). During that processional thing the princesses and little girls do, my son ate more sausage and played with his 3ds. When Aurora asked why...

Im fixing to cancel some FP+.......

I just cancelled four FOP fast passes for Friday, May 25th at 2:30pm. My family is going back to EPCOT. We enjoyed that park a lot.

Do you ever nap in the parks?

Carousel of Progress lulled me to sleep. That attraction was so boring, plus it kept breaking down. The tempo and tone of the narrator's voice was so slow and low that I inadvertently fell asleep. I didn't realize it until my husband and children started shaking me awake.
