This is one removal that is really leaving a bad taste in my mouth. Disney is making me feel like there is less and less reason to go there now. Depending on what else they cut I might just look at dumping all my dvc contracts and use all my money to travel elsewhere.

This is a bummer. I have a reservation at beachclub at the start of November and I have a feeling storm along bay will still be closed.

I wish I remembered the room number. I even went through some photos. Looking at the layout it would have been 8502, 8506, 8510, or 8512.

Like others I too am a BLT owner. Even though I love BLT a boardwalk view is definitely something I recommend you do if you have the opportunity. We noticed if the party you are traveling with is older boardwalk is great since there is a bit of a nighttime atmosphere there.

We had a lake view. However one of the balconies in the rooms had a theme park view while the others faced the lake.

Absolutely loved the BLT grand villas. You could walk to the top of the world lounge from your room and not need the elevator. Plus there were a few late nights where we would walk up to the balcony even after the lounge was closed and have a peaceful view of the Magic Kingdom.

I have been a member since 2008 and its hard to pick a favorite. I'd say it's a tie between Boardwalk and Bay Lake Tower. Both resorts are within walking distance of the parks which is fantastic. I know Bay Lake Tower doesn't get a lot of love on these boards but it is fantastic if you stay...

I had a contract submitted for $135 a point with a completely stripped contract for August and the mouse snatched it right up. You might get lucky with a Feb. use year since there seem to be so many on the market.

Hopefully I’ll have an update soon. Put in for another BLT contract. It was disappointing after we were kept waiting for over a month for the mouse to snatch it away.

Our stripped bay lake contract got swiped by the mouse after waiting 30 days.

I’m bummed out that Charles has left but I wish him the best. I remember early on I thought he didn’t fit in with the podcast but I liked his input. Once he started cracking jokes he shot to the top of my favorite team members.

I actually have the email from DVC still about the price increase. This is a quote from the email. "Act fast! The cost per Vacation Point at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is projected to increase from $188 to $210 on June 1, 2019, or before.*”

I’ve bought through them with no issues. Like everyone says the minute you see the one you are looking for act fast. I had two or three slip through my fingers within them being posted. As soon as I saw another August use year I offered the asking price and had it done within an hour.

If you are buying any points other than grand Californian good luck trying to get rooms there at the 7 month window. I was checking for about a month for a 1 bedroom but you could see all the reservations being walked.

I saw on a post that one of the icons for the top of the brick is exclusive to people who actually had one of the original bricks. I think the icon was the silhouette of the partner statue. I'll probably end up ordering one of those.
