    Wings in the parks?

We used these Little Adventurers wings. They held up pretty well, were a bit more flexible than most wings (as they fold shut like butterfly wings), and were pretty easy to store for travel. I know that DD wore them in the parks, though she may have taken them off at some point. They're still in...

    REMINDER: Keep your stuff close

Actually, if you wrap the chain around one wheel and the nearby frame, I think that would be fine. It's different from chaining a stroller to a bench or such. The CM can still move the stroller, though they might need to pick up the rear wheels to do so and just push it on the front ones...

Any experience with taking little ones on family slides?

Not exactly what you're looking for, but we took DD on one during our last trip. She was three at the time. She did just fine, but didn't enjoy it and declined to go again. (DS5 loved it and kept going back for more.)

    ADR on arrival day?

Okay, take this with a grain of salt as I've never eaten at Ohana. I would totally do both breakfast and dinner. Lots of people like to eat there so it's probably a good meal, and it's convenient and nearby. For those reasons, on our next trip (split stay with AKL 2nd) we're having dinner one...

    ADR on arrival day?

Last time we made an ADR at Disney Springs (stayed at POR), thinking it would be fun to ride the boat over, wander around, eat, etc. We were really wiped and it made for a later first night than was necessary. This time I've made an ADR for the evening at our resort. (BW so Trattoria al Forno.)...

    Kids Shoes?

Me too. DS does have a pair of these, which are in the shape of a sneaker but quick drying. We get them for summer camp but bring them to Disney too.

    it’s a small world

I'd do your 3 FPP early in the day and as soon as you tap into your 3rd, try to get a same day fastpass(es) for IASM.

    Stroller recommendation?

I can get that. Every family is different, and depending on your touring style, your agenda, the ages and abilities of your party, etc., a stroller can be totally unnecessary. For our family it is a complete necessity, though. Seriously, we couldn't spend more than 1-2 hrs a day in the park...

    Stroller recommendation?

I'd rent one rather than use the Disney ones. I've heard good things about Kingdom Stroller. I think you can get away with a regular stroller. Check out the stroller rental facilities' pages on the weight and height limits to be sure.

HEA viewing, do we really need to stake out a seat an hour or so early?

Alternatively, you can find a spot far enough away that if a CM asks you to push forwards, you still have a good view. I think that the CM are instructed to do this to make room for the incoming people who are looking to watch the fireworks. I understand that it's not pleasant for those folks...

HEA viewing, do we really need to stake out a seat an hour or so early?

I think that's slightly busier than early May, maybe? Perhaps split the difference and shoot for 45 min? I'm guessing 30 minutes is probably early enough, though.

Advice on Fast Pass Changes and Split-Stays

It used to. It doesn't anymore. I think it's awful that WDW lets you book things way in advance and then changes the rules mid-game. If they want to change the rules that's fine, but the new rules should only apply to new reservations. [Gets off soapbox.] GL getting the FP you want!

HEA viewing, do we really need to stake out a seat an hour or so early?

When are you going? If it's over April vacation, then probably. If it's in May, we found 30 minutes was long enough for a decent spot. If it's after SW opens, who knows!

    Last day of your trip.

RD park in the morning - kids pick the park. (The other days are planned out well in advance.) They can also choose extra pool time if they'd rather. Nap/rest in early afternoon Dinner in/near the Magic Kingdom Tour MK a bit if there's time Watch HEA Get kids to bed and pack as much as...

Bringing your own dress to BBB. Wrinkles? What about a crown?

Thanks all! I lean more and more towards having DD just wear the dress. There is a stiff tulle-like overskirt that tends to wrinkle and stick out at odd angles when it's been folded. Having her just wear the thing seems the simplest solution. Believe it or not, the dress is glitterless...

How about a silhouette? They're quick, inexpensive, and a great keepsake.

Bringing your own dress to BBB. Wrinkles? What about a crown?

Do you know how large the lockers are? Is there room to hang a garment bag? If it's a small cube, I don't think the dress would fare any better there than under the stroller, you know? I could just hang the garment bag from the stroller handle, but I worry about someone taking it. I don't...

    double or single stroller?

If you really don't think you'll need the double for your older kid, I'd go with the single.

    Air mattress in a villa?

Thanks for posting this question! What a great idea. We have a small pump and kid-sized mattresses from when we went camping last summer. I think I'll add that to the packing list.
