    Aulani Villas & Views -- Updated 03/21/2017

The doors do a really great job blocking out the noise of the pools. However, it is still really loud if you're out on the balcony. The trade-off from our last room was that it was much quieter during the day, due to the distance from the water slides, but much louder at night, as it was right...

    Aulani Villas & Views -- Updated 03/21/2017

We stayed in a dedicated two-bedroom in the Ewa tower in March. I had requested a room ending in xx50, like we had on our last trip, but they weren’t able to accommodate the request. We were in placed in room 1480. The room had a much better view of the beach, ocean and the pools than our...

    Aulani Villas & Views -- Updated 03/21/2017

Room views from Ewa Tower 950. 2 bedroom ocean view villa. I had requested a high floor, ending xx50 about two weeks prior to arrival through member services. I did get the xx50 room, just not as high as I'd hoped for. I ended up really liking the view. My husband and I went up to the 16th...

What/where do you HAVE to eat in the parks?

I'm almost convinced I could live on popcorn, Mickey pretzels and churros for an entire week. But I never pass-up a margarita in Mexico at Epcot.

Would you do a Disney Cruise with no Kids?

To try it, yes. I've loved all things Disney since before having children, but it's an awful lot of money to pay when you can get more adult-centered activities on other lines. My husband and I really love Holland America. The average age of those cruisers seems to be somewhere close to death...

    Luana Lounge - Temporarily Closed

We were at Aulani last week and attempted to book the Luana Lounge before we left for the airport on our check-out day after using the pool. We were told it was closed due to a problem with the water, but they gave us a hospitality room to use for 45 minutes in the Waianae tower (fourth floor...

First Time to DCL - Which Floor?

Our cruise on the Fantasy, we were on deck 9 and loved it. It was quiet, but a quick walk up two floors to the pools and Cabanas.

    4 Adults Which Building

As adults, I'd stay in the Waianae tower. We preferred Ewa to be close to the more kid-friendly areas.

Two nights at Aulani - what not to miss?

My husband and I really enjoyed watching the singers at the Olelo Room in the evenings. We'd get a cocktail, split some sushi and just relax as the sun set. Dole whips/floats can be found and are amazing on a hot, sunny day!

    Any pool thefts

We left our phones and Kindles in our beach bag on our chairs and they were always fine. Looking back, we probably should have kept them in the waterproof cases and taken them into the pools with us, but our stuff was never bothered.

Windy weather, is this no biggie?

We were there last week. On a hot, sunny day, those winds felt amazing. When we were in the pool or ocean and some clouds covered the sun, those winds were kind of miserable. I wouldn't call it windy, more like "breezy."

    Capacity over the past week?

Hi! My family just returned from Aulani. We arrived on a Thursday and our first two days didn't seen too busy. Starting Saturday, it began to seem much harder to find a pool/beach chair and there just seemed to be larger crowds. We met a few families from the island who said it was their spring...
