I saw on Instagram that they had a friends and family event this past weekend. We arrive Saturday so I was trying to find out if they may be having a soft open for walk up guests. It looks really nice!

Definitely seems unusual but I'm not mad about it because at least I'll have an opportunity to ride it! It'll be open for our first park day before closing again. Might even make it a point to ride it first thing in the morning so we don't miss out!

Curious about this too... We are staying on Harbor and planning to walk to DTD on our arrival day and I wanted to get food at Grand Californian and maybe walk over to see Pixar place. When we are done at either PPH or GCH, will we not be able to go through GCH and back out to DTD the same way...

How about taking the bus to HS and then walking or taking the boat to Ale and Compass or Trattoria Al Forno? Or bus to HS and skyliner to Riviera for a quick service breakfast at Primo Piatto and coffee from Le Petit Cafe?
