Sprint cell service in the WDW parks

We’ve had no issues in the parks since switching to Sprint, or really anywhere else.

“Frozen Ever After Dessert Party” with Fireworks Viewing and After-Close Attraction Ride

We’re a party (though I don’t think that’s what the people seated near us would call it) of 6 and they pushed 2 of the smaller circle tables together for us. It was awkward at first but once the desserts started flowing it didn’t bother us at all.

    DVC Poll

Definitely wish we had bought earlier. The idea seemed ridiculous to me when I first heard of DVC. A couple of years later someone brought up the idea again and I actually looked into it and crunched the numbers and realized it would probably work out for us if we were going to keep taking...

How long are your park days?

We usually only do 2 park days per trip so I prefer to stay in the parks all day. Show up after rope drop and do our fastpasses plus whatever additional FPs we can get. We do a sit down lunch in the A/C around 1 to unwind then get back to the grind. We’ll catch a show if we can’t score a...

    Fastpass scans not registering?

Luckily I’ve only seen him dressed up in green.

    Fastpass scans not registering?

I noticed this happened to us a few weeks ago. I assumed it was because of the rider switch. I thought about getting back on BTM but I didn’t want to face the embarrassment of Mickey lighting up red. Did you use the rider switch or was it just a regular FP?

    Finger Scan

Disney tickets are non-transferable. This is their way of making sure you don’t hand your magic band or card to someone else.

Does Disney FP planning stress you out?

I don’t stress at all. I work nights so I’m up anyway, and if I’m a half second late and don’t get what I want it’s no problem. I’m still going to Disney World.

What is your favorite dessert party? Poll

We’ve only done the FEA dessert party but I don’t think any of the others can top it in my eyes. The seating area was great, the view was great, the dessert was great, and getting a free ride after the park closed was (I know I’m being redundant) also great. The behavior of our children was...

    SSR 2BR Location

Thanks for the info. That sounds great.

    SSR 2BR Location

Thank you. Looks like I’ll ask for either Paddock or Grandstand. We’ll see if it works. If we get stuck with Carousel I guess it’s not the end of the world. We’ll just load up the wagon train when we head to the pool.

    SSR 2BR Location

Standard. Best case scenario is the Paddock I think. I’m not sure which areas are preferred, just would prefer somewhere with a pool. The distance to Disney Springs doesn’t really matter, we’ll probably only go once.

How old were your kids the first time they went to Disney?

Our oldest was 10 months. The middle 2 were 2 and 3 respectively (same trip). The youngest was 3 months. My mother thought I was crazy taking her that young but the smile on her face when Goofy played with her at Cape May made the whole trip worth it. For my money, 4-5 seems to be the best age...

Thank you. Request for anywhere but the Carousel it is.

    SSR 2BR Location

Are the 2BRs scattered throughout the resort or are they centralized in a certain location? We rented for our next trip because, go figure, we’ve already exhausted our point supply. I caught the bug this year. Just wondering if I’ll have to ask the owner to put in a request.

    Also Congratulations!

    New Owner!

The only pixie dust we’ve ever been given was our room being ready when we checked in. If that’s all we ever get I’m fine with it.

    No DVC guide assigned

As with all things, I guess some are better than others. I emailed our guide about the “closed” resorts when we were first looking to buy. He never responded and I decided that resale was a better fit for us anyway. Haven’t heard from him since, except for a few mailers trying to get me to add...

Which park and attractions for preschoolers?

MK has the most to offer for small children, but you can find stuff to do with them in every park. HS has Toy Story Land and Lightning McQueen’s racing academy, and AK has Dinoland USA.
