    Unusually Difficult Time Getting ADRs?

OK, so it is clearly not just us who are having trouble. I am not even trying for particularly difficult reservations, it just seems like everything is booked up before the 60 day window even opens.

Is it Possible to See Openings in Advance of Booking Window?

Is there any way to see openings at a restaurant prior to your window opening and trying to book? (We are staying at the Swan so we have to book places one day at a time.) We are having so little luck getting our ADRs and I know some of the places are likely already full or almost booked before...

    Unusually Difficult Time Getting ADRs?

I am curious if my experiences have been typical, but we are having an awful time trying to get ADRs. We are staying offsite at the Swan, so we haven't been able to do 60+10, but we are getting online on the stroke of 6 am and finding nothing available. I am not talking about the highest or most...

Brunch hours for Grand Floridian Cafe?

Can someone clarify for me about the lunch/brunch hours for GFC? I see on the menu the options are either lunch/brunch or dinner. Does that mean that they offer those brunch foods throughout the day, not just breakfast time? What time do they turn over from the brunch/lunch menu to dinner? We...

    Vegan/Vegetarian Restaurant/Dining Help Thread

Hi there, I am traveling with my 15 yo picky eater, mostly vegetarian. She doesn't eat meat in the sense that she won't eat a hamburger, but she wouldn't notice or care about things like chicken stock in a soup. The biggest issues is that she won't eat a lot of the go to veggie foods, like...

Older child order off kids menu?

Oh that is good to know, thanks! I assume at 12 and 15 both are considered dining "adults" when we go to Garden Grove?

    BOG lunch or dinner?

    Got it, thanks!

    BOG lunch or dinner?

Oh Oh, that is awesome! And good to know! Is there some other entertainment thing or am I crazy? Like lights and music? I have no idea WHY I thought I read that somewhere...

    BOG lunch or dinner?

Thanks! So a walkthrough by beast and then a picture at the end (presumably that they charge for, yes)? So no opportunity to take our own pictures with our camera, etc?

Older child order off kids menu?

I have 12 and 15 yo who are pretty picky eaters. They mostly order off the kids menus at home (my younger one b/c she doesn't like most "adult" menu food and my old for that and b/c she has a very small appetite). I assume for CS, getting them kids meals will be no problem. But for TS, will we...

    BOG lunch or dinner?

Hi there! We are trying to decide whether to eat at BOG for lunch or for dinner. Obviously a big factor will be which food my family prefers, but beyond that, are there factors that make one a better option than the other? FWIW, we are a family of 4 with two teens. We are not on the meal plan...

Line jumping, Hail Mary Pass, whatever

I think there is some level of general courtesy required here from the jumpers (aside from what is technically "allowed") as well as some flexibility on the part of those in line. - Child has to go to the bathroom, someone needs a diaper change, toddler going crazy... all these seem like...

Before age 3 or Food & Wine Festival

We timed a trip before my DD turned 3. Technically they are then "two" for the length of the stay, meaning you don't need to get a ticket or dining plan partway through. As far as tickets it was a non-issue. Even if someone asked us how old she was, we wouldn't have been required to buy tickets...

    2010/2011 Armed Forces Salute Tickets

Great info everyone. Two quick questions I didn't see addressed yet: 1) Do you need to buy all the same type of ticket? For example, can you get some of the tickets as the four day PHs, and some with the PH and waterparks option? Or do they all need to match? 2) At the start of the thread...

    Ohana or Raglan Road?

Personally I think the quality of food is better at Raglan. It is also a different atmosphere. Although there are a lot of kids, it is a pub atmosphere. We enjoyed our meal here and loved the live music. We had a long wait to get it though. My signature file has my dining review in case you...

    .

I'd vote Narcoosies too. It is close to MK and I found it very child friendly. Especially at that time of day you will have no trouble. They have a nice sized kids menu and their smores and nemo cupcake were big hits with my kids at that age.

Is it an easy walk from MK to CR's Contempo Cafe?

It is not too far (10 mins?), but honestly I wouldn't go through the trouble if you are planning on going back to MK afterward. The distance from the MK gate to the contemporary is not that far, but then you have to account for leaving wherever you are in MK, walking through the park, then...

Suggestions for one more TS meal?

Thanks for the advice so far. I am not sure how people will feel about buffet. I wouldn't rule it out but unfortunately I don't think Cape May is an option. I know there is a big variety but we have some definite no seafood eaters who I think would be very unhappy with a seafood destination...

Suggestions for one more TS meal?

This never happens to me, but I am stuck on our last TS meal. It needs to be out of the parks. And be a place with enough variety to accommodate 9 (including kids). And ideally have a basic chicken or pasta dish for the pickier eaters. We aren't looking for a character meal as the kids...

    Chefs or Coral Reef?

We may only have time for one Epcot area dinner and I am choosing between these two restaurants. I have never eaten at CR and haven't been to Chefs in years. We are 6 adults, two kids, and a toddler. Most are not wildly adventurous eaters. Not sure everyone will eat fish, but with the other...
