Hurricane Dorian / WDW Theme Parks Discussion

I just cancelled Movies for Sunday and Monday night. So I would assume lots of things will start to open up. We paid $130 a night for the room.

Hurricane Dorian / WDW Theme Parks Discussion

Thanks. I will have to call again. The CM I spoke to yesterday did not want to accomodate and actually asked if I also wanted to speak to anyone in dining about making reservations.

Hurricane Dorian / WDW Theme Parks Discussion

Agree! I am going to carry over my question from the prior page: Has any one been able to cancel a room only reservation for this weekend (Check in Sunday)? I dont want to reschedule because its the end of our AP. We were planning on driving down so we can be flexible but when I called...

Hurricane Dorian / WDW Theme Parks Discussion

It can really just depend. This is a big slow moving storm. From the start of the rain to the end of the bands, it could be several days of wet rainy weather.

    Orlando area hurricane this weekend?

Thank you. There are no current watches or warnings. I will just have to wait and see if they issue one that far inland.

    Orlando area hurricane this weekend?

We are four days out from check in and when we called today we were told no exceptions were being made for cancellations. I’m going to call back tomorrow afternoon. I’m fine for Disney and rain. I don’t want to be locked in a value resort with my three children.

Extra Extra Magic Hours! Post Your Experiences Here!

Question - for EEMH for MK (7am, park open at 8 am). Any idea how this works for normal EMH? We haven't done this before. Will main street open before 7 am? Since mainstreet should be open for everyone at 7 (one hour prior to park opening), how does the Extra Magic on-property group get past...

Snagging a table in La Cava del Tequila

This weekend we did a walk up with a group of 8. We waited about 15 minutes and got a stand up table.

    Orlando area hurricane this weekend?

Yes. Its not even a hurricane yet. And even if it does reach hurricane status it will probably drop to a storm again before getting to Orlando and as it comes up the coast. Our trip is still on with our ponchos.

    Orlando area hurricane this weekend?

Last year there was a light storm and we had an empty park on Monday (Labor Day). I’m kinda crossing my fingers it may keep some local crowds away!

Extra Extra Magic Hours! Post Your Experiences Here!

We will be trying for: EEMH on Monday 9/2 for MK (7:00 am) We will drive in from All Star Movies - We have a lot of FP for this MK morning so not sure what we should rush to do before our first FP at 9 am. EEMH on Tuesday 9/3 at HS but we are NOT doing SWGE. We are unsure what time we will...

    Current Popcorn Bucket Design

How often do they seem to change. If I buy one this weekend at Epcot, it should still be the same for a week later right at MK/HS?

    Stuck on dates...

My kids never really seem phased by humidity. If it gets you more days and less crowds I would choose that!

    Fantasmic Strategy with Two Toddlers

We did Fantasmic FP with our 3 kids after leaving the park for dinner. They were 7, 4, and 2. 1. The FP window opens WAY before the show time. All the seats are pretty great. I would see about just entering the theater later. Bring in some snacks like popcorn and fruit snacks while they...

    Help me plan! Party of 7 - 4 adults, 3 kids (9, 7 and 2), early Feb 2020

If your two year old will skip nap or nap in the stroller we never had a need to leave the park.

MK FP and overall strategy help! What can i reasonably get done by lunch?

I don’t think you will get through all those ride and see the princesses in the same morning if that is what you were asking. What time is park open on your MK morning day. If it’s 9, that only leaves you with four hours. With a party of six you should plan at least half an hour per ride/meet...

MK FP and overall strategy help! What can i reasonably get done by lunch?

Agree with all this. We either try to do Belle right away or get a FP. The line moves very slow and often seems to go over the posted time. Also Buzz is a really fun ride for my 7 and 4 yr old. Mid morning the line is very long but even the FP line can be 20+ min for some reason (like out past...

MK FP and overall strategy help! What can i reasonably get done by lunch?

You should definitely be able to get PeterPan at 60+1. That would be my top FP pick because the line is always Soooooooo long and the ride is very short. SDMT right after the PPO breakfast. Winnie the pooh Enchanted tales with belle Under the sea Meet Arial FP for the barnstormer -skip FP as...
