OFFICIAL 2020 Free Dining WATCH Thread - FREE DINING No Longer Available. First Post Updated with Details

Booked All Star Sports Nov. 18-26 and crossing my fingers for free dining (and pay OOP for upgrading to TS plan). We went around those dates in 2016 and were fortunate enough to get free dining then. Made a huge difference in our budget. And I swear all the food tasted 10x better because it...

Nervous Going For the First Time As A Single Mom..

I hope you had an incredible trip! My first return to WDW as a single mom is Nov. 2020. I only have one kiddo, he'll be 13 by the time the trip rolls around. The trip is one that was being originally planned before my husband and I went our separate ways. I've worked SO HARD to still give...

Can't wait to read more about your trip! I don't plan to go back to WDW for 2 more years but will be keeping it (mostly) keto on that one. Your report is giving me tons of ideas and confidence I can do it! (BTW, I'm now down 84lbs...but have hit a plateau for a couple of weeks. Going to keep...

    Airport Safety Question

Hi Becky! I would Uber/Lyft/get a ride to the airport and then when I returned, I would Uber/Lyft/cab back home. Landing in the middle of the night is what gives me pause re: driving myself back.

    Getting to know you

Hi everyone! Mom of one here...my son is 11 years old. We last went to Disney World in Nov. 2016 with his dad (my soon-to-be ex-husband). We had been planning to return as a family again in Nov. 2020 before things imploded :confused3 My plan is to still make my little boy's dream come...

Budget, where we're going we don't need any budget

One of the BEST dining reviews I've ever read. Meat missiles and hallway bread puddings

*COMPLETE* SOLO:NOT a Star wars story! An August 2018 keto dining report

So happy to have found your report! You look incredible! In 2015, I changed my way of eating to Keto and haven't looked back! Down 75lbs and keeping it off. Still have 25lbs to go to hit my goal weight. Slow and steady...:p I have to admit, on my last trip to WDW in late 2016, I ate...

Put On Your Sunday Clothes, There's Disney World Out There! - Wilderness Lodge

Yes, VERY  However, if you're going to stay on property and going to spend the $$$ anyway, I wholeheartedly recommend the Grand Californian :thumbsup2

Put On Your Sunday Clothes, There's Disney World Out There! - Wilderness Lodge

We go 1-4 times a year. Wish we could do more, but it's $$$. You're going to LOVE the Disneyland resort. It's compact, but TONS to do! We've done a couple of staycations at the Grand Californian Hotel and it's so beautiful (very similar feel to Wilderness Lodge!). Do you know where you want to...

    Tub-herini: a June '18 dining report *complete, 7/6

Super cute Figment sweater!! SCORE!!! It's funny how Disney always puts that extra pep in your step. Little sleep? Walking 10+ miles a day? Masses of people everywhere? No problem! o_O I'm sorry, my brain cannot process this statement.

Mickey's Halloween Party and Halloween Time Superthread 2018!!

Maybe we've just been incredibly lucky, but this year will be the 7th Mickey's Halloween Party we attend in a row and we've never experienced anything anywhere near this. The low crowds are what keep us coming year after year...even with the price hikes

    I can't tell if we've landed...Spring Break 2018 with Grammy and the teens-UPDATE 9/30

WhaaAATTT?!?! I don't understand how this happened  Your poor mom  My pre-teen son would have loved the signs and then quickly realized how uncool they are and taken them down too :lmao: Can't wait to hear about BLT. It's one of the resorts we're considering for our next...

Need help deciding if Universal day worthwhile?

It's true that if you're used to US Orlando, then US Hollywood will pale in comparison. For us, the one really great thing that Hollywood has over Orlando is the backlot tour. It's so much fun! But even taking into account the backlot tour (about 1 houri duration), US Hollywood is not a...

Which Travel Time Would You Pick

Even with surface-of-the-sun temps :scared:, I'd choose late August. My son will be in middle school this coming school year too. We easily took him out of school when we last went (he was in 4th grade), but that's not an option in our MS and HS either. So it'll be school breaks only from now...

He Just Came For The Food: A March 2018 Dining Report *update 9/22 S. Hollow/GF Cafe

That's exactly how my husband feels about arugula  Whenever he orders anything with a salad, he specifically asks if there's arugula in it. If there is, he orders something else :rotfl: Because why the heck not, right?! :cool1:
