    Hotels closest to gate?

Since the onsite hotels rarely have specials or deals anymore like the “AP Nights” from a few years back, we’ve been staying at the Hojo. We really like it there but I’d like to try one of the hotels right across the street from the gate so we’re as close as possible. We are: 2 adults, 2...

Places on I5 to stop with toddlers?

Almost there now, LA traffic is not my favorite. We did end up stopping in Lost Hills, they've got a wonderful new community park with lots of grass, a playground and an artificial turf soccer field. We let the babies run on the soccer field and it really made them happy.

we're driving down from Santa Cruz tomorrow and will have our 21 month old twins with us. I wanted to see if anyone had any advice on good places to stop for breaks with little kids. Playgrounds even? Thanks!

    ***November 2016 check in***

Heading back to DL November 4-9 after skipping a couple of years while I was pregnant and our twins were super young. Looking forward to introducing them to all the magic! Staying at PPH :jumping1:

    Decorations in early November?

We'll be at the DLR November 4-9. I know the Halloween decor will be all down but I'm wondering if we'll get to see any of the holiday stuff while we're there?

    Hojo Anaheim?

We've stayed at the Hojo many times, it's our offsite hotel. I've never had any problems with their elevators. Just an FYI about the top floor rooms in the tower...there are large windows up high, without curtains, that let in light. If you like a dark room for sleeping, that might be a...

Pack & Play cribs at PPH (or GCH & DLH)?

Thanks for the helpful replies. I had planned on getting a couple of sheets to bring for the PNPs and will try and figure something out to make them more comfortable, whether it's getting the mattresses that NJlauren mentioned or bringing an egg crate type topper.

Pack & Play cribs at PPH (or GCH & DLH)?

Yes, these are the ones I'm asking about, wondering how comfortable they are for toddlers and if I should bring anything to help make the mattress softer.

Ladies, what shoes does your man wear when walking around Disney?

My husband wears supportive running shoes at Dl, as do I. The best advice is to bring two pairs and switch them out half way through the day. Changing shoes midday really makes a big difference in minimizing soreness.

Florida has gators and California has raccoons

Raccoons are nowhere near as dangerous as gators. I'll take anything Californian over the wildlife in Florida any day.

    Paradise Pier

There's only that one street to cross and while it still feels very much like you're in The Disney Bubble, I think it's important to point out that it's not a quiet little road, it's four lanes and the cars sometimes go really fast.

    Paradise Pier

It would depend on the adults and the toddler. If you're staying concierge, you can request a 'cabana room' which is on the third floor and will have its own private patio with a table and chairs that looks out on yo the pool area. It's gated so the toddler won't be wandering off.

Pack & Play cribs at PPH (or GCH & DLH)?

We'll be staying at The PPH this November and will have our twins with us who will be 22 months old at the time. Can anyone who has used the resort hotel Pack & Plays comment on them? I'll be bringing their blankets from home so they're comfortable, should I bring special fitted sheets too? Thanks

    Disneyland with toddler...advice pls

Thanks for all the wonderful advice! It's funny, I was just looking online to see if Rayshade made a double size. We're staying at the PPH and will be there for 6 nights so we can take things at whatever pace we'll need to. I loved seeing pictures of the fabled Baby Care Center, it'll be so...

    Disneyland with toddler...advice pls

We are DL veterans, usually visiting 4-5 times a year for many years. We've taken a break for a couple of long years because of my difficult pregnancy and our twins' long stay in the NICU after being born very early. We've planned a trip for this November and the whole family is really looking...

Have to get a few things off my chest

That's a lot of blame for negativity directed at APs. How can you tell that someone has an AP as opposed to a park hopper?

Are the DLH room doors magnetic?

Do you mean are the doors metal, so a magnet will stick?
