    "Official" 2019 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party - A Frightfully Festive Celebration

Toy Story character questions.. I saw in the info post the Lotso meets in Tomorrow land. Where can I find him? I feel like remember seeing him at the Buzz meet but I can’t remember. I have a 4 1/2 yo obsessed with all things Toy Story right now so hoping to get at least one TS character in. We...

    AP Discount Watch and FAQ 2023. 10% - 40% off select nights July 11 - Sept 28; Oct 2 - Dec 25

Hi all! I have a great rate (not AP) booked at the GF for mid August. Luckily I booked before the sun and fun was pulled. I wanted to add a night or two at the CR in a TPV and really hoping they add some discount back in for that time. Not sure why the pulled all the discounts (I am sure it has...

Fantasmic and jingle bell jingle jam

I don't think so. Fantasmic is around 25-30 mins I believe. Plus exiting the theater. Last year JBJB was at 8:30 I believe in Dec when we where there. This year we are going Thanksgiving week and it is very late at 9:30 (well late for my almost 4 yo anyway). I wondered why they did that and I...

Jambo! The newest AKL Information thread

Al Also interested! We will be there Thanksgiving week. Hoping for an early reopening so the Kidani pool is not crazy lol. Also does anyone know when they start the FP photographers in front of the tree at Jambo? We had one done a few years back on my son's first trip. It was one of my...

How old is too old for a stroller for WDW?

We had our stroller for our almost 4 year old. He refused to go in and threw a tantrum but on a few occasions he got tired and once he even fell asleep in it at night. So for that reason I still lug it around and at least it carries my backpack lol. For us I would say until between 4-5. I can't...

Thanksgiving Day - Hollywood Studios or Magic Kingdom

I am confused by the crowd trackers. For T-day they say 8 at MK but 10 at the other parks? that seems odd to me. I went with my gut and made EPCOT for the morning . It is an EMH (which I know can make it busier) morning but we will just go, do a few things have lunch at GG and then go back to...

was it "worth it" for you to go to wdw with a 1 year old (only child she will be 11mos)? +

YES! We took our son at 13 months. It was so great. He had so much fun looking around and riding things like IASW. Just know your trip will not be like an adults trip. He still napped twice a day. So once was in the stroller in the am and the next was back at the hotel. We went when it was...

    Vulnerable kids at disney

I don't want to be a Debbie downer either but I would personally probably delay. We had a trip planned for when my son was 6 months. Low and behold that was when the measles Disneyland thing occurred. My pediatrician begged me to reschedule until after he got the vaccination (at 12 months) and...

    Flying with a Preschooler?

We have both driven and flown to Disney with our now 3 1/2 year old. We like both options for different reasons. Last time we flew he was 1 1/2. I am worried about the air pressure at take off. When he was a baby he took his bottle and everything was good. Now he is too young for gum and way...

Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

Hi everyone! We will be at the BCV again in a little more than a week. Anyway, my friend was there last we and said that there where characters at the pool. I am going to assume they are the Cape May characters. Is this a regular thing? This will be our fourth trip there and I don't think I ever...

    Slinky for 3 Year-Old?

So I would try Barnstormer first. We took my 3 yo on Barnstormer twice and once he loved it and second time he was scared. That was last dec. He will be almost 4 this coming trip in a few weeks. I will try barnstormer again and then try 7DMT because he is begging for that. I really think Slinky...

Captain Cook or Kona for Breakfast?

The only major difference is the sauce. Captain Cooke's doesn't have it. Also in terms of environment they are very different and price. If you want a nice leisurely breakfast KC is the way to go but if it just solely to taste the TT maybe CC is fine so you can save some money and get out the door.

Sci Fi or Hollywood & Vine for Lunch

Neither place has outstanding food. So that being said for the kids H&V for the parents Sci Fi. My rule of thumb is if my kid is happy, I am happy so I pick H&V. Also I am nervous my almost 4 yo will be a little scared at Sci-fi.
