We enjoy it and go most trips. I agree that the prices have gotten silly, but we enjoyed our meals this past December (2022). I ordered the filet and it was good. But we don't always go for their steaks. I'd be fine with just their cheese soup and pretzel bread. ;)

The Boardwalk Gazebo gets my vote as well. It's an amazing little spot night or day. Peaceful and cute.

We are going in November and skipping AK that visit. Doubling up on EPCOT and MK instead. We are staying at Beach Club and pre-Covid popped into EPCOT each day with our APs whenver we stayed at BCV or BWV. We will definitely miss being able to do that.

This worked for me too! I had to first switch to Chrome browser...then I would keep clicking on my date on average between 2 to 5 times in a row and then the availability would finally show up.

I was wondering the same thing. Our next trip is in November and have been holding off to ask WDW directly since things might change between now and then, but in general, I would like to know if they plan on doing something to offset the loss of AP benefits (park hopping, water parks, etc.).

I was able to make all of our dining reservations on 5/25/20. For now, they are all still showing up in MDE. I'm curious to see if they stick around.

I would think they should at least send a cancellation confirmation email once the reservation was cancelled. They send one when we MAKE the reservation, they can send one when the reservation is cancelled (and typically did prior to this situation). Hopefully they will add that to their list...
