Is it easy to get to Disneyland Paris from the city of Paris?

We were staying at Normandy Hotel located near the Louvre. Gate One travel is right downtown. We added a day at Disneyland Paris the night before. Super easy. Took a charter bus out for the day and back. It wasn't expensive at all and such a simple process. Enjoy!

Touring Both Parks in One Day?

Agree with previous post. We arrive as soon as the parks opened and easily spent the day seeing pretty much everything. We where there in March and many of the rides/attractions were under repair or remodel. Compared to WDW, Disneyland Paris is much smaller. Still great fun.

Can I do seaworld in one day

Yes. We did. We did most of the rides (some more than once), ate at a sit down meal, kids played in the playground, and saw the killer whale show. We got there when it first opened and stayed most of the day. We had a great time.

    Help planning for DLP

We are annual visitors of WDW and FL as well. This past March, my mother and I went to Paris and I talked her to going to DLP Paris. A few things I can share. The parks were not crowded in my opinion. Not compared to WDW. The weather was fine, cooler than any time I’ve been to WDW. I’d...

    Lanyards/Tickets

We learned the hard way last November that we should have brought our Disney lanyards for our first visit. It only took the first day to realize the mistake of leaving our Disney lanyard at the room, but all other days we wore our Disney lanyards at Universal. Disney pins and all. pirate...

    Parking Question

Or you can just park in the adjacent parking garage for $20 and walk a short distance. Unless you wanted to be at the resort for another reason.

Looking for information for Nov and Dec

We were there for Christmas one year when our child was young. It was great fun and absolutely doable. That being said, I wound't do it again during Christmas due to crowds, but happy we did. We have found November to be our key month. It's lower crowds, still warm enough to swim, and we are...

Does Universal have a gator problem like Disney

Oh no,no,no...I certainly DIDN'T think Vatmark fed the gator. I was just speaking to the picture in general. I reread my post and see how it could have come across wrong. So sorry - nothing but Disney magic from me to fellow Dissers.

Does Universal have a gator problem like Disney

Your picture makes me so upset. There is no feeding the wildlife in Florida. There are reasons you don't do this. Plus, I am sorry, from FL or not, just common sense not to feed an alligator! And pizza?! Yes previous post, this is why there are issues with gators coming around. :furious:

Last minute trip to DLP for a total newbie

So excited to have found this board. Next March, 2017, we are doing a mother daughter trip to Paris. I just realized we could actually do a day at Disney!!! Well, assuming I can talk my mother into it. I will be following all the other newbies, as I am only use to WDW planning. This is very...

Gator grabs 2 year old at Grand Floridian?

I got chills as soon as I read your post. So terrible for everyone involved and I can't imagine being there with this going on. Orlando has such a terrible week with nothing but tragedy. What a horrible accident, the poor family. :(

*UPDATE POST 69* Medication no longer covered on insurance formulary

As a PP post shared, if you haven't already have your doctor become your advocate stating the child needs to take this medication. We had ours send over several letters to the insurance. Now strangely, our insurance will only allow us to pay for name brand ADHD medication. For the generic, it...

Which Mexican Restaurant would you rather go to in Epcot?

As a family of four, we had the best meal in November at Saint Angel Inn Restaurant. Not only were we sat near the river, but the meal was delicious! The steak melted in our mouths and the sides were extremely flavorful. The server was kind and shared she'd speak with the kitchen to make...

Solo trip with kids? Would you?

Oh yes I would go without DH! My boys are 9 & 12. We'd have a blast. Then again, I'd go without my kids and DH! I am all for a solo trip or a girls trip to WDW. :flower1:

    Children's fanny pack or backpack

Our boys, 7 & 9 last trip used sinch sacks. Easy and lightweight drawstring backpacks. You can find them at Target, Dollar Tree, Five and Below, and more expensive brands at any sports store. Since I am not sure what you have accessible in Canada, you can stop by a Walmart or Target once you...

    BOG without reservation?

We went on our trip without any ADR's. However, we used the Disney World Ap on the iphone and were able to book BOG reservations for 4 the night before. For those releasing their ADR's for whatever reason to avoid being charged, free's up time slots. We got luckily and got an 8pm DR with no...

    1900PF vs Ohanas?

I can only speak to Ohana. We do breakfast every time we visit WDW. We go first thing in the morning and usually have no wait. The characters spend lots of time at the table, food is fresh and delicious, and we have nothing but the best experience. Our last visit we were sat right at the...
