VB 2013 Information & Adoration Thread ---CLOSED---

We are headed to Vero Beach July 20. We were supposed to go with another family that is now unable to go. We went with them last year and had a blast. Now we are alone. I have two girls - 12 and 15. I'm sure hoping that we have as much fun just with our family. We ate at Shutters twice...

    Hilton Head

Really? Bummer. I was told that at that time I'd have no problem getting a grand villa. We opted for 3 studios instead. I sure hope it works out. We're going to try.

    Hilton Head

We are going to Hilton Head next summer. We do not own there, so will it be a problem to get 3 studios 7 months out? We will stay the 9-13, I believe are the dates.

    Aloha!!! We're booked for Hawaii!!!!!

We booked the cruise. Paid our deposit. Right now we have booked with the kids. Have to see. Our biggest obstacle is taking our freshman out. Straight A student, but she is worried about missing soccer.

How specific can your cabin request be?

When we cruised the first time, we just requested the deck and area. When we cruised the second time we knew we liked that stateroom, so we requested that exact same stateroom.

It's a good thing Pete is so shy and retiring

I think that it has been stated many times on the podcast that they are offering their opinions. If you were to take the opinions of every podcast member into an account, you might as well stay home. Everybody has different tastes and experiences. And, what one might experience on one trip...

Looks like we're poised for a happier, friendlier New Year.

Congratulations on the house, Jason. Susan told me you guys were getting ready to close on a house.

Only called him on his comment because it was in obvious referral to the other post. Didn't think it was nice. My comment might have full of snark, but I don't believe it was the first one.

Oh. Isn't that in June? Share your magical powers with me. How are you going to go to Palo on New Year's Eve?

Are you going on another cruise!?!?! How fun for you. Have fun with that.

Looks like we're poised for a happier, friendlier New Year.

Yes it does. Just be careful not to get too hasty! It sounds like you are going to more room. What you throw away you can never get back. If we are honest about it, it's all just stuff, and the only thing we really need are friends and family. Now those are things we should never throw...

Congratulations on the move! Be careful what you throw away. I tend to clean house every once in awhile and it seems like without fail I throw away something I wish I wouldn't have. Life goes on, but it makes me a little sad. Even if you think they aren't useful anymore, there might be a...

new blog by Bob Gurr about Podcast Cruise 2.0!

That's a tough one and maybe not great to call clients ill-behaved and Bob and Fred, as well. But, Palo has a dress code. Every one I saw that walked into that room looked beautiful when I saw them for brunch. I have seen their picture for dinner, and they all looked classy. I'm a bit...

new blog by Bob Gurr about Podcast Cruise 2.0!

Haven't you ever been to Palo and seen the private room? While it is private, the word private, that word is laughable. The door is glass and hardly sound proof. I would say the door did little to block out any sound. I can't completely blame the group. They wanted someplace for their group...
