Everything Park Hopping - Please Read Post 1

Great idea! Once he scanned in - no need for "availability" for PH to MK for him later... correct? He could then just enter with us as normal.

Everything Park Hopping - Please Read Post 1

Thank you! Now - a follow up question if you don't mind :-) We intend on doing MK, then PH to Epcot after 2pm, then back to MK for late night hours. How would I handle his reservation if he ends up not being able to meet us early for MK - but still wants to go to Epcot and then MK late night...

Everything Park Hopping - Please Read Post 1

AP holders. Have park reservations for 5 for MK. Intend on park hopping to Epcot (if available) after 2pm. My one DS, actually arrives that day to meet us - and "may" not arrive in time to enter MK with us (but will want to PH to Epcot later with us.) Questions: 1.) can I just scan his band...

QUICKEST transportation option for HDDR to DHS?

We have a 6:15pm HDDR Reservation and would like to take part in DHS after hours (9pm-11pm) as much as possible. What is the QUICKEST way to get to DHS? Walk to Settlement Depot - bus to main entrance - and then Uber/Lyft?

Any grocery deliveries that will deliver to your building at SSR?

I'm aware of all/most of the grocery delivery services. I ordered from Amazon fresh last visit. However, they delivered to the main building and then I needed to cart them all back to my room by foot. It was alot of work. Are there any that will deliver to say "the 5000 building at SSR" so its...

Everything Park Hopping - Please Read Post 1

Refresh my memory - can I start out at MK, hop to Epcot and then back to MK for late night hours? Annual Pass (yes, we're at a deluxe resort)

Losing my patience... should I just move on?

I disagree. I've been every year since 2005 (plus dozens of times in 80/90's). Most cases since 2005 - multiple times per year. My last trip in January - was literally the busiest I've ever seen it and that included one time when we went over NYE. I bought an AP before they stopped selling them...

Losing my patience... should I just move on?

Have you been to WDW lately? It is, in fact, wall to wall crowds. And they don't care. They simply want you to pay more to skip "a few" of the wall to wall crowds. They like it this way.

    ***Official December 2022 Thread***

Dec 10-17 - Saratoga Springs (SSR) Cautiously optimistic that the lines and wait times are better than last year. :rolleyes1We have AP's or we wouldn't be going back after the chaos of our last trip & Genie+, LL, and exhaustive lines everywhere. Going to plan alot of time outside rides for...

Just back - here's how Genie + affects the parks.

THIS!!! All of this - everything you wrote is exactly what we experienced and exactly how we feel. Its so sad :-(

Just back - here's how Genie + affects the parks.

The difference is that the "less busy" (read: you could walk around) did NOT make for any less waits.

Just back - here's how Genie + affects the parks.

I wish I was exaggerating about the wait times - I'm honestly not. And I haven't been since Dec 2019...so I don't have any "covid lows" to compare it to.

Just back - here's how Genie + affects the parks.

Seasoned WDW traveler - DVC - AP - etc. We know what we're doing. We loved FP and the ability to be "fair game" (if you will) for everyone to get a few headliners and wait (as necessary) for other rides. We paid for AP's this time and refused to pay one dime more so decided we'd grin and bear...

Online check in? And if so, when?

    Perfect, thank you!

Online check in? And if so, when?

My only request was Paddocks, close to pool. If I do online check in thats not an option. Whats my best bet? Don't do online check in and pray DVC communicates this to room assigners? Or do online check in and choose "close to pool" which I may end up in Grandstand close to Pool (I'm in a standard.)

    New rules are overwhelming.

I'm a seasoned WDW traveler - 30+ trips in past 25 years. DVC Owner - Kids are "disney-fied", etc. We love all things WDW. I've given them virtually ALL of my vacation dollars in the past 25 years. We haven't been since Covid - going in 3 weeks for first time in 2 years. Bought an AP just to...

Should I buy an AP with the new Genie?!

We are DVC members. I Admittedly have not kept up with Genie plus and the new changes to Disney World. We have not traveled since December 2019. We are going to travel in January 2022. I assumed it would be better to get annual passes and try to travel three times in one year. However it will...

    SSR 1 bedroom Refurb

Perfect, thats exactly what I was wondering. I was hoping you didn't have to block the door with the table to make the beds functional. I'm glad they got rid of the breakfast bar. I thought it was awkward and not functional. We used it as an extra shelf and always tried to move those chairs out...
