We are at the Fort now and haven’t noticed a lot of activity. There are several small containers in the compound and large transport trailer. I suspect they will get started very soon especially if they plan to have units available to rent by July. They have installed a stop sign by the compound.

We booked for Jan. 2-31/2025. Good to hear you’ll be back in January. We also booked a full site.

We will be back at the Fort from March 6-14. Not sure if you’ll still be around but if so perhaps a quick hi!

Today they have started what looks like it may be some sort of staging area. Down from the Outpost on the left side of the road in the large field they are placing down large “composite like” flooring . We also noticed it appears they have fencing to put up. Sorry no pictures.

We are at the Fort now and have had no issues opening the gate with our MB. In the past this was not the case. Not sure what they might have changed.

Briar is feeling much better. She doesn’t enjoy the daily ear cleaning followed by instillation of antibiotic ear drops.

We always request the 1700 loop. We find it very quiet with ample space. Something to think about for next year , last week was Jersey week and the parks were very busy.

Good news! The inspector completed his final review yesterday and we received our permit to operate Evangeline. Today’s customers are experiencing a train ride around the sunflower maize while it’s in full bloom. We couldn’t be more excited!
