I think #1 is in the pre-show area of the Tiki Room. Is he the narrator ?

#2 is the petrified tree in Frontierland. I think it is close to where the Mark Twain docks.

#3 is the Chinese lanterns that hand over the teacups.

Great pictures....now I will run and look at the other guesses !

1. Is this one of the Talking Tikis outside in the courtyard at the Enchanted Tiki Room?

2. I think this "petrified wood" is outside the Big Thunder Railroad.

3. The laterns are over the Teacup ride.

Now a question for you...which one of the above answers am I sure of? ;)

Mele Kalikimaka!
:D

1. A shield on the bridge to the entrance of Adventure land.

2. A petrified tree trunk that was given as a gift to Walt Disney by who I forgot... It's to the left of Mark Twains Loading Docks

3. Laterns above Mad tea Party...

1) I can not be very specific in the Tiki BIrds waiting area?
2) The petrified tree Walt gave to Lillian in frontierland
3) The lanterns over Alice's Teacup ride.
Happy New Year to you and your family.

How can we have a competition if you don't compete? ;) I don't want to win by forfeit. :D

Here are my guesses:

1. Tiki Room

2. Frontierland Walkway. Walt gave this petrified tree to Lillian for a gift.

3. Teacups

MaryJo - I would like to warn you that I received a digital camera for Christmas. I will be attending the first DCA sneak preview on January 19, 2001. When I return there will be a special edition of "Where In ..." just for you. Get ready. ;)

<font face="Comic Sans MS"><font color=#006600> HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!!!

Here are the points you all got:

JudyfromBoise 2.5
Half a point for the first one because you are in the general area... :)

MolokaiGram 2.5
Same thing - half a point for the first one because you're in the general area... and the one you were sure of was #3. :D

swinginevilmike 3.0
You got them all right! :) Though I think the details on the tree are a little different.

Carolyn 2.5
The first one is in the same general area, but not in the courtyard. :)

Rajah 2.5 Plus extra churro points
You're right on the tiki mask! It's upside down... but not in the courtyard. :)

Tink33 2.5
The petrified tree isn't exactly on the Frontierland walkway...
Hey, & I'll be looking forward to your pics!! :D

This is one of the tiki masks that are on the bridge into Adventureland, as you near the Tiki Room entrance. This mask was accidentally put on upside down, and was never fixed.

This piece of petrified tree was found by Walt Disney in Colorado. He bought it in 1956 & gave it to Lillian for their anniversary. It weighs about 5,000 lbs, and so he put it at Disneyland, instead of at their own home. It sits near the Rivers of America in Frontierland, in front of the Golden Horseshoe.

:) Picture 3 :)

These are the Chinese lanterns that hang above the tea party in Fantasyland.

Thanks for playing, everyone!!

You got 100% MaryJo! :D

Just posted on Keith's thread that we won't be returning to DK this year (unless Luck intervenes). We got terrific deals on air fare and will be going to Orlando for under $300 each roundtrip from Molokai and could not pass it up! ;)

We will be in LV 2/23 - 2/25; WDW 3/4 - 3/8 and Universal 3/8 - 3/13. Wish we could have included DL, we would love to see you again and have a DIS meet. :)

So now more than ever I will be anxious to play your game. It is going to have to be the only way I can keep the memories alive. Thank you for so much happiness. :D

BTW do you think Ohai should put in a protest on the mask, although it doesn't seem to be a Hawaiian mask? LOL :D

1)it's in the courtyard for Tiki room
2)it's the petrified(sp?) wood in front of the rivers of America and what is special is that Walt gave it to Lillian for their..i think..30th anniversary. I think it from like Colorado.(Learned that on the Walk in Walt's footsteps tour)
3)it's the lanterns by the Mad tea Party ride
